Ohana Closes @ 10PM, Wishes @ 10PM

Will the restaurant let us stay and watch Wishes at 10pm if on that day, the posted closing time is 10pm?

Has anyone had experience with this type of situation? If they will not, can I simply walk outside the restaurant to another viewing area at the Poly (where music will be piped in)?

I can get a 9:45 pm reservation for Ohana. I think 10pm is the last reservation for the evening.

But it has been reported that you cant see it as well as you could because of the tree growth.

You might be better off making your way to the beach at Poly

What time is your ADR? If it is around 9:15 or later, then I wouldn't worry about it. They really don't rush you out. When they say they close at 10pm, I'm almost positive that is the time they accept the last ADR. They don't actually close at 10pm for those already seated. Now, if your ADR is earlier, you can go down to the beach and watch from there.

10 is the last time they will admit patrons. They won't kick you out if you were already there at 10.

I saw Wishes from 'Ohana last September, nothing wrong with the view then, but I think it is a little distant.

Perfect, thanks! I think I'll book at 8:00 p.m., and if we get done before 10:00 p.m. we'll walk down to the beach. If we're lingering still (maybe they won't let us stay that long?), we'll try to watch from the table.

We had a 9:15pm reservation with Wishes at 10pm and it was wonderful! No problem seeing and we'd forgotten about the fireworks so it was extra fabulous! They're definitely off in the distance so I wouldn't want that to be my only viewing of the fireworks show but it made for a nice treat for us.
