I read somewhere that the wait for Ohana's breakfast can be an hour long. I don't understand how that could be if you have a reservation. The most we have ever waited at any TS restaurants with reservations is 20-30 min.

We have a res on June 12 at 7:55. For those of you who have been, will the wait really be that long?

We have never waited that long at 'Ohana breakfast. We have had reservations at 7:30 and at 8:30 over the past 2 years. Both times we were seated right away and there were definitely other guests dining - the restaurant was far from empty.

I don't think it is common but we waited 70 minutes once and ended up never being seated as it was our departure morning and we had to catch a plane. This was later in the morning though, I don't think they will be so backed up at 7:55.

We have never had to wait for our reservation at any restaurant over maybe 10 minutes. I'm not sure if it is because we go in September and the parks are usually not to crowded?? I would say at 7:55 you shouldn't have any trouble!

Our experience happened in September, LOL.

We have waited a long time at 'Ohana. An ADR is not a reservation in the conventional sense. It is simply a place in line, kind of like when you call ahead to have your name placed on a list at Outback Steakhouse. Disney is really good at seating peole pretty close to the times they request, but there is no way they can "save" tables or toss lingering guests out.

We have never waited long for breakfast at O'hana, but we did have to wait about 40 min. for dinner once.

We do a late 'Ohana breakfast (10am or later) on checkout day every time we go to Disney. It's become our tradition. I don't think we've ever waited more than 10-15 minutes for a table, and we usually check in 10-15 minutes early anyway.

We had 15-20 min wait both times we went for reservations around 8.

We always seem to have to wait for Ohana, but I don't think we have ever waited more than 30 minutes for breakfast or dinner. I still think that it is one of the longest waits for an ADR. Teppan Edo is the only other location we have ever had to wait that long at.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. It seems to be the minority for waits over an hour which is good to hear. With FP+ and all the pre planning that goes with it, to miss the rides because of an unexpected hour long wait would really be disappointing.

Jenjursnap, you must have definitely been disappointed being that it was your last day. Hopefully you were able to grab something at the airport. Nothing like having a long flight home, being hungry and only having the in flight nuts to hold you over. Happened to us once before when DME dropped us at the airport with only just enough time to get through security. We made it just in time to get on the flight. Completely nixed my plans for grabbing a bite at the airport.

We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated for a table for 4. Our reservation was around 9:30 AM.

We have a 9:20 reservation for October. Hope we don't have to wait that long! Should I try for an earlier time if one comes available?

We ended up grabbing Tonga Toast from Captain Cook's downstairs, so, while we were very disappointed, at least our bellies had some food. :)

Waited between 45-60 minutes for our breakfast and dinner reservations. I'll never go back for that reason.
