Which is better (based on food AND experience)?

Thanks in advance!

We love dinner there. The room is very dark kind of romatic, you can see the castle lit up in the background, and the food is terrific.

That's a hard choice.....although we prefer the breakfast....make a Great start to the day.....enjoy either.

The reason I ask is that we are on the DDP and we don't want to pay for a meal OOP. I want to try Boma, too. SO, I have to chose 2 out of these 3 options:
Boma-dinner
'Ohana-breakfast
'Ohana-dinner

Is so hard to decide!!!

For our family,I would choose Ohana breakfast and Boma dinner. Ohana's breakfast is a character breakfast and so much fun (the kids do a parade). The breakfast potatoes are so yummy! We have eaten at Boma for dinner and thought it had a wide variety of food. I got so full on the soups and entrees that I hardly had room for dessert.

If this is the only character meal you're thinking of, I'd do breakfast.

However, this is not the best choice value wise for the DDP. Breakfast is $20.99 which means you'll need to find a $20 QS to get close to breaking even for this day. Dinner is $32.99.

Dinner is all-you-can-eat MEAT for the carnivorous people in your party. And it is a lot of fun. The kids get to learn a hula dance and there are coconut races. If you time it right, you can see Wishes during dinner.

This is a hard choice we do both on every trip. I love the breakfast because the kids love the characters and waffles, DH and I love the juice and potatoes. Dinner is just amazing. I loved everything and my DD was able to get unlimited pot stickers (something we can't afford to do when we are eating at a local resturant)

We loved the breakfast on our trip. It was one of the top meals of the week. However, we didn't care much for the dinner, other than the Bread Pudding. So my vote would be for the Breakfast.

Hmm...I would pick Ohana dinner. Love the food, fun atmosphere.

But, if you are traveling with kiddos, the character bkfst is fun too.

Dont think you can go wrong with either.

Havent tried Boma...want to, but hubby isnt so sure :lmao:

Thanks for all of the info....
Our ressie is for 8pm and wishes is at 9pm that night. Will we be able to see it? Can you see Wishes from anywhere in 'Ohana?

You should be able to see Wishes with an 8:00 ADR. There are big windows all around the restaurant. When we did this, the kids were able to go get close to the window, but that may not be the case anymore. But, you can see it from just about everywhere in the room.

We're actually doing 'Ohana this time for both breakfast AND dinner...IMO dinner at 'Ohana is one of the best dining experiences in WDW. We love dinner at 'Ohana...although last time we had to wait a long time even with ADR, the kids loved it and the food was awesome.

But my kids are now hooked on Lilo and Stitch, so we're doing breakfast there one day, too.

Boma is still on my maybe list. I'm afraid that if I talk it up to DH and go so out of the way to get there...if we don't enjoy all of the exotic choices, I'm going to look like a fool.

I love Ohana as well. We are doing Breakfast & Dinner this upcoming trip. My mom says the Dinner at Ohana is her favorite on property. I dont think you would be going wrong with either.

Dinner, but I am not a huge fan of big breakfasts and would rather save DP credits for dinners.

Love 'Ohana. Both are good, but that DDP really really saves at Dinner there. So much good food and a great atmosphere!
