We will be staying at the Poly the first week in June and I'm considering a meal at O'hana but I'm having a hard time deciding between breakfast or dinner! Can any of you folks that have been to either or both give me your opinions on which is better? There are 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids!

TIA for your help! :goodvibes

We have only done the dinner, but the kids really enjoyed it. If they are picky eaters, they can order different food. My oldest liked the regular menu though. We haven't done the breakfast before, but we are considering it for our next trip.

Both!:thumbsup2

If it's possible, I'd do both on different days. They are very different meals so for me, it's hard to choose one over the other. Are you all more breakfast people or dinner people? Are you more concerned about a character meal for the kids or a sit down meal with no characters at dinner? We always do both though!:goodvibes

we LOVE Ohana's breakfast!! We did it with a group of 12 and everyone loved it so much. One of the few meals the kids still talk about

Well, I used to think that Ohana was one of the best restaurants for dinner at Disney until this past week. We had dinner there on our last night and it was horrible! The only good thing about it was the view of Wishes that we waited an hour for. The food was just not good this time around. We loved the food the last time we ate there and could not wait to go back. Well, we will not be doing dinner there again anytime soon. However, we did the character breakfast there the next morning because my dd's begged to do it and it was wonderful! So, the meals were very very different. We really enjoyed doing the last seating for breakfast. The characters were good and the food and service were great! I would choose breakfast for sure. Maybe we just really caught Ohana on a bad night, but I really should have complained. I would have too, but my dd7 was asleep by the end of dinner and I was almost in tears, so we just left.

I have never tried eating dinner at O'hana, but my family's breakfast there was awesome. In fact, Boma and O'hana are my top two favorites when it comes to breakfast selection. :)

Never did dinner, but the breakfast was awesome.:thumbsup2 The character interaction was great, and I loved not having to get up for a buffett. I can't wait to try dinner on the next trip.:yay:

We have done both and I loved both but DH wasnt too fond of the dinner so I would say if we go again it would be for breakfast.

We have done both and loved them both. They are both such different experiences it is hard to pick. The breakfast is truly one of my favorite in the world, but we are not that big of breakfast eaters and the dinner is such a neat experience, so I will have to vote for dinner.

Since you are staying at the Poly if possible I personally would do both. We like to do the Lilo and Stitch breakfast our last morning there.

We couldn't decide either so we are doing both on our upcoming trip. I would definitely consider doing both since you will be staying there, nice and convenient.

Thank you all for your input! Sounds like breakfast is the most popular so I think way may try that since it is a character meal and we don't have one scheduled for this trip! Unfortunately, both meals are not in the budget, otherwise we would definately do that - I guess that just gives me an excuse to go back, to have dinner at O'hana!

I'm so sorry you had that happen - having a bad meal experience, especially at the end of the day - is not fun at all.

Boma breakfast was one of my kids faves last time we went, too - they still talk about the juice!
