Against the other character breakfasts I mean?

I'm looking at booking it for our May trip. How does the food rate? I looks a bit different to the usual standard fare. Is it good?

TIA :goodvibes

I found the food good at all our breakfasts so I wouldn't rate 'Ohana as better or worse. I do like the family style so that we can all stay at the table together the whole time instead of back and forth to the buffet.

Character interaction was great! Along the lines of Crystal Palace. Much better than Breakfastasaurus(sp?) where it was very rushed. Not quite as much as Garden Grill where the characters came by multiple times and colored/played with the kids (not breakfast, I know, but good food character comparison). But they did spend a few minutes at the table and goofed off a bit. They also have the kids parade around the room with the characters which was fun.

'Ohana breakfast was one of our favorites. It just has a great atmosphere. :thumbsup2

I liked Ohana better than Play-N-Dine (Hollywood & Vine). I thought the food was better, fresher. We enjoyed the sausage, especially, and the Mickey waffles. The character interaction was great at both places.

We did dinner at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace so I can't compare those to Ohana.

My DD is a huge Stitch fan and loved Ohanas. The breakfast is served family style eggs, potatos, juice with fresh fruit... food was great! Stitch was funny causing a bit of mahem in the diningroom with his bad behavior. Lilo and Goofy were there as well. They all came by the table more than once. We'd recommend O'hanas and would gladly go back again and again.

DD loved this one b/c the character interaction was amazing. To this day she talks about Stitch trying to drink my coffee:rotfl:
The food was OK, I didn't like that the food was not very hot and since its family style it gets cold quickly. I like buffet style better. But you can't beat the interaction, they even do a parade around the restaurant (just liek Crystal Palace does). We rebooked this for our April 2008 trip.

We liked it, but we wouldn't do it again. Our DS is 11 and with the holiday upcharge that breakfast cost nearly $90 after tip.:scared:

The menu is pretty standard - basket of breads, platter of fruit, platter of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and a guy who came around with waffles. We had to specifically ask for the waffle guy to come back because we only saw him once.

The characters were fine, Stitch stole a Santa hat from a boy at the next table and then "presented" it to DH.:rotfl: He was the best of the 4. They did have a parade but DS wasn't interested - it was mostly younger kids.

I think we would have been just as happy (and just as full) eating somewhere else, but we had never been to Ohana and wanted to try it.:)

Thanks guys!

My dd loves Stitch and it sounds like the interaction is fantastic, which is a good enough reason to go :goodvibes

I must say, the food looked a bit so so to me when I checked on Allears. We've done CP and CM so far. CP was outstanding I thought whereas CM was just....meh.

I'll probably book anyway, I love to try new places at WDW :D
