Ohana bread pudding

is this basically the same dessert they serve at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show?

Similarly, but I don't believe they are the same. Spirit of Aloha is more of a Pineapple Bread Pudding, while Ohana is more traditional with bananas.

also the one at Ohana ..the caramel topping that they pour on when it comes to the table is really WARM...and it just melts on top of the ice cream...yum...i can hardly wait...the one at the Luau ..not my absolute favorite..but we did eat it

I didn't care for the one at Spirit of Aloha (thought it was just ok), so I'm wondering if I will like the one at Ohana. I after hearing some bad reviews of Ohana lately, I am thinking of canceling my reservation in December. I wouldn't let other people's reviews make me rule out a restaurant completely, but I was thinking about trying it on another trip instead.

We just dined at Ohana 2 weeks ago for the very first time so I have nothing to compare it to. We have not been to Spirit of Aloha.

the dessert is one of the only reasons i agree to eat there. i hate the main course (i know im weird dont lecture me. im not a picky eater at all i just HATE the grill taste on those meats.)i only eat the appetizer and dessert there and both are AMAZING!!!

Ohana's bread pudding is much better than the Aloha show's, although the dessert is the best part of the food at the Aloha show (love the show though)

We were just at Ohana last Wednesday. We've been there 3 other times and it was just as excellent as prior visits. The bread pudding is AMAZING!

A substantially similar bread pudding including warm bananas foster sauce, but no ice cream, is available at the Captain's Grille breakfast buffet. Had it this morning. YUM!
