We are arriving on 01/06/10, running the marathon on 01/09/10 and wanted to eat at Ohana' for Dinner that night to watch Wishes. When I have tried to book both online and over the phone there are no reservations avalible. The reservation agent said that they may have not put that time frame out for booking. Has this ever happened to anyone before? When will it become avalible? (she wasn't able to give me a day)

*I assume you mean 2011 and not 2010.

There are a number of us waiting for 'Ohana dinner reservations to come online for January 2011. Only dinner on January 1st, 2011 has loaded.
Breakfasts are available for the month but no dinners besides the 1st.
No one has a date yet so you just have to check back every day.

Painful I know!

OOPS....your right I meant 2011

Thanks for the reply I was starting to get worried.

I'm looking for this same night (Monday) as well. I know it's popular but I thought this is crazy to have no availability 180+ days out. Glad to hear it's just not opened up yet.

I guess I'll keep watching and waiting too.

Tried online and called last week- was told that the tables had not been released yet. Called today tables released- no reservations available for any evening we wanted, would have taken any time slot!?!??:headache:

'Ohana cannot have been released for January Dinner hours because again there is still availability on January 1st and has been for over two weeks but NOTHING on every single other night in January.
Keep waiting.

Call back again and get a 3rd answer ;). The CMs on the phone effectively see what we see. No availability. They each interpret that different ways. Looking deeper (them, not us) and it may show that the tables haven't been loaded yet, but from the initial view, it just looks like it's full. (And... TBH, I don't know how I know this about the system... It's just one of those things that I happen to know. I think one of the Oct 27 CMs mentioned it while she was having issues that day. That's the same way I learned about the "odd number" issue at restaurants)

Yup, while I'm not actively looking for these reservations, I have been keeping tabs on this issue (along with a few others) in case I can help explain it to others.

I was in the same predicament. I literally just got off the phone and was able to receive a reservation for 8:30pm the Sunday after the marathon. We run the Goofy each year and O'Hana's is our celebratory dinner. Hoping I can continue to call back and get an earlier and earlier time.

I would verify that it's for dinner (8:30pm) and not breakfast (8:30am). I just ran through most of January and there is still nothing available for dinner except for January 1st (which still has availability)

Being that January 1st is arguably one of the very busiest days at the World, I'd expect that they'd sell out before the rest of the month (which is always a slow time at Disney)

My heart skipped a beat when I read your post. I just called back and verified it is for PM. Woohoo! And was able to move it up an additional 15 minutes to 8:15pm. Double Woohoo!

I wasn't able to find anything online either. I would just keep calling and calling.

They must have just opened up some of the reservations. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get anything in January 2011 and I finally was able to get just about any evening I wanted. I was able to book on January 12. They had dates available until January 17. Good Luck.

Yupperz! I was able to move ours up to 7:30 for Wishes. Hopefully, we'll continue to be lucky and receive a table with a view.

Happy Reserving!

Got our 'Ohana reservation in January all taken care of finally!
That was the last one I was waiting on.

Just booked our Ohana reservation for 7:20 :yay:....do you think by the time we are seated we will be able to see the fireworks? That is if we get a table with a view!!!

Same as other posters called this am and got Ohana for 1/3/11 no problem!:woohoo:

It may depend on how many are in your party. I can only think of 2 tables for a group larger than 6 near the window. We have always had success booking 30 minutes before the scheduled fireworks and requesting a table w/a view. We arrive 15-20 minutes early and grab a drink and the bar and then have a 30-40 minute cushion from reservation time to the start of the fireworks. I'm sure the hosts will do their best to meet your request.

We are booked for Ohana during the Christmas holidays. How much time should I have allotted to time it correctly to be there for Wishes?
Thanks for any input. :santa::santa:

I got my ADR for Monday, January 10. Hopefully I'll be recovered enough from the Marathon the day before to gorge myself on meat and bread pudding before watching the MK fireworks and waddling back to the monorail/Epcot/BWV.

I originally had Ohana booked for my August trip and had to shorten my dates in which left me without Ohana! That was back in May I have been trying ever since to get a decent dinner time ressie at O'Hana and was just able today at 38 days out retrieve one on the online ressie system!:goodvibes
So there is always hope keep trying!!! I'm still trying for LeCeiller with no luck thus far!:)
