Ohana ADR for late July- impossible?

DH and I are going to Universal for our 15th anniversary 7/20-7/24. (Please don't hold it against us- we just spent 9 days at WDW with the kids! ) He just suggested eating at Ohana's for dinner one night. Will it be impossibe to get an ADR this close? Is Kona Cafe a nice alternative? We have eaten at both restaurants for breakfast, but never for dinner. TIA!

You never know what might be open! Give them a call in the morning and see.

If they aren't, we really loved Kona for dinner. The atmosphere isn't much but the food was fantastic, some of the best we had all week. If it's just adults you may enjoy it even more. We were a party of 6 adults and the food and conversation was wonderful.

I called last week for an ADR at OHana's and I got the time I requested and I am traveling the last week of July.

Friends of mine scheduled a trip last week and managed to get Ohana as well. They had their choice of times, too. Make that call and good luck!

We decided to add a day to our trip the last week of July, first week of August and so I decided torearrange all of me dining reservations last week and I got everything including Coral Reef and Le Cellier on the days and times I wanted them...so you might do fine...just call and ask. If not O'Hana's I love Kona at dinner anyways!!
