1) If Wishes is at 9:00pm, slim chance.
2) People book seats late so they can see the fireworks.
3) Once they get a table, they hang onto it.
4) Unless the table does not have a view through the window.
5) But, you never know . . . . . . . .

I have booked around that time and have had no issues. Again it just depends, as you could get seated in 5 minutes or 30 minutes.

When I was there in April, Wishes was at 10pm. We had 8pm ressies at 'Ohana..we were done eating and out of the restaurant by the time Wishes started, so we walked down to the beach and watched....it was even better...so perfect!

The fireworks are not that visible any more. Trees obscure a lot of the previous views. They no longer dim the lights or pipe in the music so the effect is kind of "oh look, there's some fire works in the distance." It seriously shouldn't be a major consideration for eating there, IMHO.

When did they stop dimming the lights and piping in the music? We had a great view of Wishes from our table last trip so it's surprising that they stopped that.

ETA: OP, we had an 8:15 ADR and were seating in plenty of time for Wishes.

Not sure, but we've been three times in the past 8 month and this was the case each time. Perhaps it was a coincidence but that there would be quite a coincidence!
