Oh Why did we have to pick the coldest wknd of the year?

So Excited!! We are going for the first time the end of this May. Me, my husband, our three boys,(5,9,13), my sister and her two kids and 3 other adults. Thanks for the pictures of the superheros, I wasn't sure which ones do pictures. I showed my 5 year old and he is so excited! That picture you have of Donkey- does he stay in the barn thing. Can you get a picture with him? My nephew just loves him. What other characters did you see? Your report is great, I love to read how people spend their day so I can get an idea of what to do. How scary is that Spiderman ride and mummy ride? My son won't go on Dinosaur at Disney. Not sure if I should tell him what to expect or just let him get on and find out. If I tell him it might be scary he probably won't go on.

Your pictures make the park looks so awesome. I can't wait to go. We are driving from Philadelphia area(to save money) -that's the only down side to it.

Sorry I have not finished this or answered questions but our phone lines and DSL have been out because of flooding until this afternoon. I will get to work on this in the morning.

So, after much fussing with the phone company we finally have our phone lines fixed. We have the most horrible week with the flooding and then my son was sick so I just have not had time to even think. But oh well at least it is getting back to normal.
Next post will be starting my trip report again.
For the person that asked about Donkey, I have never seen him anywhere but in the little barn thing. However you can get up close and take pictures. He is so funny too. He will crack jokes the entire time.

Ok, so we really needed to get in some time for alien shooting so we headed over to MIB. This is absolutely one of my favorite rides. It is so unique and just so much fun for the whole family.

The Simpsons Ride!! My son loves this ride. He laughs the whole time and don't tell him I said this but giggles just like a little girl.

We rode simpsons a couple of times. THis ride always has the longest wait time of any of the rides with the FOTL. I thought the waits were longer this time in January than in June even thought there was less people because of them running fewer parts of the rides. Only one side on some. However we never waited more than 15-20 minutes for anything so we were happy. Especially Obi Wan who hates lines and I can not get him to go anywhere that he might have to wait in line. That is why we have not made it back to DIsney. But I just know I can talk him into it this year.
Anyway, we headed back to the hotel to get cleaned up and have the great dinner debate. Grandma won the debate this time as we had promised to take her to Texas Roadhouse while we were gone so off we went. My little guy was so worn out that he fell asleep at the table at dinner. But he was happy so I guess in the grand scheme of things that is what matters.

My total agenda for the day was to explore Suess Landing. I am in love with everything here. They have done such a good job of theming this making everything so magical. I just start smiling the minute I enter it. So, grandma and hot dog were armed with their brand new thing1 and thing2 shirts and were just dying to see cat and the hat. I told my DH that our son was growing up and is all boy but just for the day I wanted him back. He spends alot of time with daddy playing video games and hunting and sports and stuff and less and less time being mamas baby so this was the perfect time for me to have him back since he still loves Suess. I know this may seem silly but all of you who have children will know what I mean. They get to that stage where they don't need you as much and us mommy's can feel a little sad.

So here is Thing1 and Thing2!!

We ate at Circus McGurkus for lunch and my son was totally amazed by the fact that the ride goes through.
