I think I've missed out on A LOT lately...I moved out of my house into one that only has a dial up connection. You have to have DSL or better right? What's the minimum it has to be to work properly, because I tried a computer with a DSL connection and the loading screen still just stayed black. Is someone trying to keep me out because I am dying inside.

I have dial-up and i get to vmk fine, i just modifyed some things on the internet properties and it works as smooth as dsl

I got DSL and VMK runs pretty quickly and easily for me. At one time though, I had some trouble with VMK, it kept saying my firewall was blocking it, so I adjusted my internet settings and things are going great.

like changing the way the information comes, compressing the files helps, changing the amount of disk space it can use for the cookies etc.

VMK asks that you use DSL or higher because Dial up gets slow at times.

thanks guys...I tried the firewall thing and changing the disk space allowed for cookies, it still won't even load though. the loading screen just stays black and at the bottom it says done. I guess I'll just have to live without.

Another reason might be your processor. Are you using an older computer? Older Macs are the slowest because of their PowerPc CPUs.

There are two computers in my house, both with broadband. This may not be true for all computers, but VMK won't work on the other computer unless I create a new name on it. That computer has crashed, and after that VMK would not work until I created yet another account. Maybe if you try that, it will work on your computer?

wait, now it says low bandwidth warning, you'll still be able to play but it will take longer, please be patient, but it just keeps reloading that screen instead of the game...
