We are doing the oh my dance... It's starting to hit us that we are going to Walt Disney World!!! We never took a family vacation before because we never want January to get sick.. This is our first family vacation and that is very scary and add we are going Walt Disney world... but I know that seeing January at WDW will be priceless!!!! January is talker and we know she will be talking about this trip forever..She loves to see WDW or Universal commercial..She tell us that we missed it and didn't get to see the whole commerical..She loves to read TR with me and say "That where we are going"

Her first surgery was on 10-30, she was 12days old!! This is the next day!!!The nurses did this

This is January at 5months old, few weeks before her second surgery!! She was very tiny

Fews days after her second surgery too!! This is few kids and her with few football players from WVU and this picture was in their football program for few years!!

The night before her last surgery..Oct 09(If you can't tell I stress eat, I gain 100pds from the time I found out that I was preg. with January til' her last surgery two yrs 100 pds!! I just started to get this weight off.. I proud to stay down 20pds in 1 1/2 months)

ONE WEEK from TODAY!!!! We still haven't hear anything from the volunteer. We don't know anything about when they are coming to our house to give us everything to send us off.. We called MAW chapter last friday and they said that they are sending everything off to the volunteers and it's in their hand now and they should be calling us at the beginning of the week.. This is now the end of the week and no call!!! Did any other family have to wait like this, not knowing when they will come with only week to go? My dh and I are not last minute people!!! We are pack now because we don't like to do anything last minute!!!

That is one of my fave pictures too because we didn't get to hold her for few days and that was the day before her surgery. We didn't have a camera with us til' family came up for the surgery and we took so many pictures that day of us with her!!!! She was so tiny at 5month old she was little over 10pds and she was born 8lbs 3oz!!! That is her easter pictures and she is in a easter basket!!!!

I remember that we didn't have the final meeting with the Wish volunteers till about 3 days before are trip. They showed up with a couple of gifts and gave us our stuff. I did have constant contact with one of our volunters though, so I knew about when they would be coming out. Do you have the phone numbers to your volunteers? If you do, I would try calling them to get a time frame of when they are planning to come out.

It would be great to us if we knew a date!!! We don't know the volunteers numbers. They were here in Sept. They told us that they wouldn't be coming back. That are last package will be mail to us two weeks before we leave!! We have been on the phone with our local chapter, but they said they send everything to our volunteers and they will have to call us

I told my dh what you said(well wrote), he said, "We have that phone number of our volunteers!" He called and left a message on their voicemail!!! I hope we hear something by monday or we going to call the main office again!!! It just want to know date

I talk to local family today that went on their make a wish trip to WDW. I told her about not hearing anything yet!! She said that volunteers never came to her house the second time and everything was send to her by mail!!!

That is what happened to us with Jason's wish trip. We got all our info in the mail only a few days before our trip.

She told us 4/22 that she was going to send it out on that day. She told us on 4/27 that she was going to send it out that day!!! We talk to you today and she said she may send it just to us. She said that she may send it out on monday and it would get to us or volunteer maybe on tuesday!! She said that it doesn't have anything in it just the check. Our tickets are at the airport. What about time of flight? I look up what they told us and their isn't any flights with that time. I said what about info on how we are getting to the airport..She said that we had to figure that out. She THINKS they give us 45.00 to park the car at the airport, but she doesn't know. We guess we are going to drive our car to my dh grandparents house(5miles from the airport) and leave it their and have them take us to the airport!!! I glad she told us because we now need to get up early to drive and find someone to drive us. My dh family doesn't care to drive us and they all want to see the plane leave!! We live about 40miles from the airport!! Our volunteers told us that MAW had someone pick us up. This is why I'm not last minute person!! I hate not knowing...

I would definatly call on monday to make sure that she sent it. Even if it is just the check it will need time to clear the bank. I know that diffrent MAW chapters are deffrent, but it seems to me that your chapter needs to work on their communication skills. You definatly need to know the info about having to drive before the last minute. It seems wierd though because everyone I have talked to says they got a limo to the airport. We did.

and hopefully your last couple of days are as stress free as possible.
