I'm inspired by a review about 1900 Park Fare to ask about what wonderful soups you've eaten in WDW. Asparagus soup was mentioned; I have no doubt I would love it. Their Chilled Strawberry soup is to-die-for.

I have enjoyed many over the years. I think the creams soups in particular are awesome because they contain real cream instead of just roux and milk.

I had something called "Sweet White Onion Soup" at the Crystal Palace years ago. It was so good, I'll never forget it.

Yes, the Canadian Cheese Soup at LeCellier is all that, especially with a pretzel stick dunker.

I love the clam chowder at Cape May Cafe.

My last two dinners at Chef Mickey's both had fabulous soups. One was a ham and leek soup; the other was Smoked Tomato Bisque.

The only thing I enjoyed at Boma's was a carrot and ginger soup.

So what yummy soups du jour have you enjoyed at the World? :)

Roasted pepper and shrimp soup at Pepper Market...yum!
Lobster bisque at Fultons

smoky portobello soup at Artists Point and the strawberry soup at Park Faire are my favorites!

I had the pea soup at Rose and Crown and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I'm not a huge fan of peas, but was feeling adventurous and it paid off!

My MIL also really enjoyed the clam chowder at Columbia Harbour House - it had large pieces of clam, and they weren't skimpy with it. Especially good for a counter service.

The soup at Coral Reef. I want to say its something with lobster but I don't remember the name. I just remember that it was awesome!

Well, I didn't try the potato and leek soup at Biergarten but my boys both LOVED it so much that I e-mailed Disney for the recipe. It is absolutely fantastic and my favorite soup to make at home!

You know, I had that soup a few nights after I had the ham and leek soup at Chef Mickey's. It was O.K. I may have liked it more if I weren't so crazy for the CM soup. I did really like the soft pretzel sticks served with it.

My brother thought the strawberry soup at 1900 Park Fare was like a smoothie and wanted a straw to drink it. I disagree with him. It was chunky enough to be a soup and I loved the flavor of the real cream in it.

The chantarelle soup with raw pumpkin seeds at Jiko is the single best dish of anything I've ever had at the World.

I agree the Stawberry soup at 1900 PF is very refreshing!

Awesome Potato Leek soup from Germany

WPE in DTD has killer butternut squash soup

Many moons ago, when it was early on in the F&W days, there was a stand outside of the Land that had fresh roasted corn and corn chowder...that chowder was incredible!

French Onion soup from Chefs de France....ooh soo good and cheesy

The best ones I've had are the Seafood Bisque at Kringla in Norway and the Creamy Lobster Soup at Coral Reef.

Also liked the Potato Leek soup at Biergarten.

Shrimp and Curry soup from Kona. It is also a creamy soup made with red curry and loads of shrimp. It is the best thing I have eaten at Kona (and I am a big fan of this restaurant).

Hands down, my favorite soups would be from Boma! Let's see... chicken pepper pot, she crab soup...

I think I also had the lobster soup that another poster mentioned at the Coral Reef - yum!

I recently had the clam chowder at Harbor House and it was pretty tasty.

I used to read about the clam chowder at Columbia Harbor House often. I don't see it mentioned much lately.

Is it Manhattan (w/tomato broth) or New England (cream-based)? Is it still served in a bread bowl?

Butternut Squash, Carrot and Ginger, Sher Crab at Boma
Lobster Bisque at Coral Reef
Tomato Bisque at the Plaza
Mushroom soup at Artist Point
Cheese soup at Le Cellier

We just returned from a quick trip to Disney and loved the tomato basil soup at the Grand Floridian Cafe. My husband is not a fan of tomato soup but loved this one! How can I get the recipe?

I enjoy many of the soups at Boma (love that restaurant!), but especially the carrot ginger. It could almost pass for a dessert. Also the butternut squash, coconut curry chicken, chicken corn chowder, Mulligatawny.

There is a thread that lists LOTS of Disney recipes that people have requested. I looked at the index for the thread and saw that the Tomato Basil Soup recipe is listed.

Here's the link for the index which contains the link for the actual recipe thread.

BTW, you all are making me hungry. I've been sick for awhile now and soup is about all I want to eat. Just thinking about all the great soups at WDW is making my mouth water.

My favorite soup in the whole world (WDW and beyond) is the potato leek soup at Biergarten. So delicious!

I also love the Chilled Strawberry Soup at 1900 Park Fare.

I have been fond of some soups at Boma too but I cannot remember what they were exactly.
