I think we may have thrown out our MNSSHP tickets! What can we do? I know they are non-refundable. I was thinking that since they are the plastic cards, maybe they have to activate them in some way. If that's the case, maybe they can deactivate/decommission the ones they sent and either send me new ones or just let me pick them up when we arrive. I know....I'm wishful thinking.

Here's what happened: I told my DH I would put them with the DW stuff, but I didn't. I laid them on the bench at the bottom of the bed thinking I'd do it in the morning. Then he cleaned that off. He has a very bad habit of throwing things away before looking at them. Now, with our bad habits combined, I think we've thrown away our tickets! :sad2:

I am so disappointed. We had tickets for both Oct 11 and Oct 13. Now we'll probably have to re-buy them. Ugh. It just makes me sick.

Sorry. Thanks for letting me vent that out. I'm having a terrible anxiety attack and just needed to get it out in writing.

Oh no, I feel so bad for you. The same thing happened to us! Not this year, but back in around....I think 1998. Of course, I was a little girl then, and wanted to show off my FABULOUS tickets to (yes, believe it) Disney World! So I show them to my friend and (i swear I did) put them back in the little compartment in the desk. But a couple days later, when DF wanted to see something on the ticket, they were gone!! It was horrible. But, amazingly enough, we went to the gates right before MNSSHP started, and we bought a whole nother set of tickets! I thought it was sold out! And that, my friends, is why for the next 2 months I referred to my DF as "Super Dad."

Did you save your confirmation number when you initially placed the order?

Call 407-WDISNEY, and explain the situation.

They really do track everything, and more likely than not, if you don't have the confirmation number, they may be able to track them by your last name.

What would have happened if they'd been lost in the mail? ;) Disney's too smart not to keep track of their sales.

If you don't have an annual pass which is connected to your name, the only chance of getting your tickets replaced for free is to IMMEDIATELY COPY THE BACK OF YOUR TICKETS upon receipt. Guest relations will be able to take the codes off the back and re-submit your tickets. I found all this out, first hand, when I lost my annual pass on this past trip. My GF had a regular park hopper and the cast member told us to copy down all the numbers on the back so we could replace the ticket if lost....without the info on the back, he told us that we would be completely out of luck.

Have you tried calling WDW tickets? 407-566-4985. I know it would technically be telling a fib but just call and tell them that you don't have them, maybe they were "lost" ? ;) Just don't say how they were lost. May be worth a try. If they were lost in the trash or whatever then it seems to me that they could look up your transaction and deactivate those tickets and resend new ones. I know for a fact that the last time I myself made reservations through WDW I had to request a confirmation over a dozen times and I am not exaggerating. Good luck!

Thank you to everyone. I feel better just getting it off my chest and having you all to commisserate (sp) with.

I do have the confirmation number. I also called DW and they gave me another number to call, but they were closed for the day. I left a message explaining it all--probably a mistake since I admitted culpability. I'm always afraid I'll get caught fibbing. Anyway, I am going to call them back Sat morning first thing and see if anything can be done.

Of course, I did NOT copy the info on the back because they were still attached the paper they came on! My thinking on that one being that if they're still stuck to the paper I won't get them mixed up with our leftover PHs from last year that we're using for our "pluses" when we go to the water parks. Oye. Now I know. And now I must change my actions accordingly.

Don't worry. If you've got the confirmation number, they should be able to track them for you. Honest!

It'll work out!!! :)

I cant tell you how close I came to throwing them out!! DS had gotten the mail, and he tossed it on the end table, they fell on the floor.... I was searching the mail, finally something with DISNEYWORLD ON IT!! Turns out it was only a Disney Visa application... The next day as I'm cleaning, I came across the 'garbage' mail, saw it said disney, but it was the exact same envelope the Visa one, so yep, straight to the trash, dont even open... WAIT, is that 'heavier' than the last?? I open it... eeesh, MNSSHP tickets!! :faint:

Holy cow, Eeyore45! :earseek: Soooo glad you didn't trash those!

You know, when they asked me if I wanted them sent to me or waiting for me at Will Call, I thought, "Duh. I want to be in charge of my own stuff. I don't want the extra step of going to Will Call." Well we see how that worked out don't we! :rolleyes1 When/if I have to re-buy I think I may just do the Will Call!

Thanks you guys. I'm almost ready to laugh about it. :rotfl2:

You know the thing about will call though is that you have a long line usually to get the tickets therefore lessening your time in the parks. Plus the cast members at the reservation center can't "officially" tell you but they work off of commission and when you do a will call for that many months ahead of time you could possibly put their jobs at jeopardy due to they don't get the commission until you go to the will call and pick them up. Just some fyi advice. Enjoy the mnsshp and food and wine fest.

It will be interesting to see what Disney does when we truly did not receive our tickets. We are in the middle of a hassle over our Halloween night tickets.

I ordered 2 adult tickets on April 30. At the time of purchase I thought it odd the CM told me he would have the tickets mailed, since we live so close. I have purchased tickets in the past over the phone and don't recall just being told the tickets would be mailed.
I did not think further about it until after I hung up and read the Dis. Then I realized I was charged $3 postage. There is no reason for our tickets to be mailed, so I promptly called back. In turn I was given the number to call
Ticket Services.
A CM there credited me the $3 mailing fee and said he would pull the tickets and I could pick them up at Will Call.
The credit was processed.
We tried picking up our tickets last Saturday inside Epcot Guest Services. I could not because they showed the tickets had been mailed.
And of course, we did not receive our MNSSHP tickets in the mail.

Now I again have to go through my the I-did-not-receive-my-MNSSHP-tickets story at Guest Services and see what happens.
I asked last weekend what would happen, and how would I prove I did not receive my tickets.
They said not to worry. They just wanted to give enough time for local mailing.
So, we will see what happens......
I can dispute the charge with my credit card company. Of course what I want are my tickets. Not a refund.

I never knew you could pick them up in advance or the thought never occured to me. I am going in June and just bought MNNSHP tickets for 20 people and several fees. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

I bought tickets last year for MVMCP. First I ordered 3 for my niece she's 23 but everyone in my family considers me the expert. A few days later I ordered ours. Niece received hers within 5 days as did I. I put mine in the glove box as soon as I recieved them but while cleaning out the car I threw them out. The day after I did it I realized. I called a week later claiming I hadn't received them (yes, I'm horrible). The CM said that it might be too late to send new ones since I had less than a week til my vacation. She told me just go to GR. When I went to Guest Relations at MK and explained the CM print me new tickets. I had brought a copy of my confirmation letter. I did order my tickets online, not sure if that makes a difference.
Now whenever I order anything for my trips I put it in my suitcase right away. When I ordered the DDE card I printed the email a 4 times (one copy for everyday in case it got lost) and placed it in my suitcase right away.

Making a CM wait for the commission doesn't make sense since the tickets are non-refundable Disney is still getting their money. Shame they do that to the CMs.

OK, you will not believe this: THEY ARE REPLACING MY TICKETS! Yes, that's me screaming with delight. :cool1:

Nancy at the ticket office rocks! She was so nice and funny. AND she replaced my tickets. Woo Hoo! Once less anxiety attack in the world now.

 :cheer2: :cool1:

My DH lost his "Mickey" AP in the MK. We went to Guest Relations at the park and they replaced it, with no problem. We did not need the number.

The replacement, however, has a picture of Goofy! :rotfl: We got a kick out of that. :rotfl2:

I've found them to be very nice about tickets and replacements. My son got sick at the party last year at 7:00, after we'd been in the park for just a bit and they refunded 3 of our tickets back to our room, which I thought was VERY nice. (My son and my in-laws left the party.)
