I am leaving for Disney on Friday and I'm sooo not prepared? I usually have everything planned down to the minute! But because of circumstances that have happened recently, I am not ready!

Any advice??

Tam:)

I am in the same situation and I leave in the morning. Its a last minute birthday trip and I had classes to deal with. I just planned which parks which days and left it at that. Just relax and have fun. You will be in Disney!:cool1:

I'm going to say this and I'm sure some people will disagree, pick up the Unofficial Guide book and read what you can on your way there (unless you're the driver, then I recommend you don't!) and they also have some tear-out pages in the back with some decent plans. That or use touringplans.com, or ridemax.com. :)

If you don't want to do either of those, well, just go and have a good time. That's perfectly acceptable too. :thumbsup2

You probably shouldn't go.

It appears you also have two kids, so I think you should probably send those tickets to us. We are prepared. We will email you a photo if you like.

We just got back on Sunday. After at least 6 months of careful planning, we really didn't stick with any of the touring plans I had worked to hard on! You have your park days and know where to head. All I can say to you is: 1) get fast passes for Toy Story Mania and Soarin as soon as you hit those parks! 2) If you are heading to Pixie Hollow to meet Tinkerbell, be at Toontown by at least 9:30 am for rope drop or expect a 90 minute wait from then on! 3) just have fun and go with the flow! :)

OMG:rotfl: Thanks for making me laugh this morning!

I did buy the Unofficial Guide and will be reading it on the way down!

Since the kids are older, we will be spending more time at the waterparks!

We will be getting to MK at RD to ride Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain and POTC! And eating as many dole whips as I can.

Epcot-we will do everything

HS-we will do everything

skipping AK this year!

We have a whole day set aside for Wakeboarding lessons:yay:

Hopefully it will all work out! I know the crowd levels will be 10's the whole week!:scared:

Thanks for the tips, please keep them coming!!

Relax and enjoy being at Disney.

And realize that many of us are jealous that you are there and we aren't! :sad1:

As far as planning our days at Disney, I have done fairly well w/ that. I am just going somewhat crazy about the crowd levels, but there isn't much I can do about them.

I am trying soooo hard to keep on schedule w/ planning and getting everything ready at home...clothes washed, finding all the summer clothes, making vet, hair cut and waxing (legs) appts. and getting prescription refills, etc.

I always have good plans, but end up w/ other things coming up and being so rushed 2 or 3 days before we are supposed to leave. This time we are flying out early in the morning, so EVERYTHING is going to have to be finished the night before. (and I do not plan on being up all night!!!)

We went to Myrtle Beach in Febuary just for the weekend, and I ended up doing everything last minute and absolutely hated it!! I am doing much better for this trip, just crossing my fingers that I stay on top of everything!

You might want to replace "Space" with "Splash" because Space Mountain is closed for a MAJOR (and much needed) renovation.

Advice? Go, relax, enjoy!

I can't tell you how much more I enjoy the parks when it's just DH and I, no plans... than when it's a family trip with reservations, time tables, etc.
