Just realized...now that we have booked and paid...that we will be there from Nov.1-11th. The same times as Jersey week (never heard of it before...we are from Canada) and Veterans day weekend. Are we going to be sad that it will be soooo busy or is it not too bad?? I really really was hoping we were going at a quieter time but now I find all this out. Ughh. I have most of our days planned at the parks before the Veterans Day weekend starts but am worried about Jersey week....

Please help me feel better...:scared:

I can assure you that the whole state of New Jersey does NOT empty out and head to Disney! :rotfl2: We have gone in years past during this time and its still not what I would ever consider to be a crowded time. I wouldn't even give your plans a second thought. You have to remember that even if everyone from NJ on this board did Disney during that week, it still represents such a small percentage of the people in our state that its a non-issue. Honest! ;)

Being originally from NJ I would say you couldn't pay me to be there that week. :scared1:

We been to WDW during Jersey week and after being there during the summer it didn't seem crowded at all.

This past November we went during Jersey Week - accidently. Like the OP, I thought I had picked a great time. Then I heard about the dreaded Jersey Week. :scared1: We had a great time! The parks were more crowded than when we had gone in January but the lines were not unusually long. We used fast pass for a few things, didn't need it for everything. We got there for rope drop every morning and we got to see and do all that we wanted in 5 and a half days for the four parks except for Peter Pans Flight. It was the only thing that had lines like you wouldn't believe all day long. So I hope I can put your fears to rest about the week you picked - I can't help you with the Holiday (we were long gone by then).
