I just checked the new hours for April 4. Now it says the park opens at 8:00am! (this is a sunday) does this mean the EMH is 7:00am? Plus Daylight Savings time starts that morning. Oh man that is early!:earseek: :earseek:

I thought the posted 8 am opening times were kind of unusual, too!

That's the beginning of the 2 week Peak Season around Easter. Crowds during these 2 weeks are the biggest of the year, aside from Xmas week. They probably have to open that early to let accomodate the crowds.

And yes, if posted opening is 8am, then EMH would be at 7am. And yes, that is early, especially on spring forward the clock day.

This is great. My fianc'e doesn't think so. LOL. It will be a magical honeymoon. Open at 8 and leave at midnight. Woohoo. I am so excited.::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

That's the kind of day when you get there to open at 7 Then leave later for lunch, swim or shop, and a nap. Then finish up later by coming back when many people are leaving!

I think I'd go for it. There will be many who just won't get up, and others that intend to, but forget to set their clocks. I'd get out of the park at lunch time and go have lunch at a resort, then chill at the room or pool until after dinner. Go back to the park for more fun in the evening.

I agree...that day I would really get up...I think EE is so much fun...walking down Main St with no one else there...getting to the back of the park before others, and I bet previous poster is correct, many may forget DST on htere vacation so even fewer there...and the crowds will pick up as the day goes on...

I hope I can drag the gang out of bed!! I think I'll buy a whistle!!
(just kidding! sort of..):teeth:

Tassie...no need to buy whistle. you can borrow mine.
This would be a good time to teach your kids to get dressed while still sleeping. Remind them they are at DIsney and every minute counts and they can slepp when they get home from vacation.

I'm off to check out some hours for May...

Have a good night.

When we were in WDW over New Years, New Years' Day was early entry. We were standing at the gate with a few hundred other crazies waiting for the park to open and the sun to come up. It was wonderful!!! (Early entry was at 7:00 a.m. that day, too!)

Have fun!

Surely you didn't think you were going to be able to SLEEP IN on your VACATION did you??? Foolish people...:teeth: :teeth:

I think Disney is one of the few vacations that tires you out more than relaxes you!

ITA

I don't believe the words Disney and relax should be used in the same sentence.

I plan to relax after our trip.

ROFL! I must say that ITA!! We always make sure to schedule our vacations so that we can get some DOWNTIME when we come home! There is no such thing as SLEEP for my gang when we do Disney ... we are all too hyped up and the adrenaline never really stops kicking in! Unfortunately, this time, my dh has to go RIGHT back to work the day after we come home, but the rest of us will have a few days to rest up before getting back into the swing of things! I will have to slow it down a bit this time because my 72 yo mom will be with us, but she is ready for the challenge and boy are we planning on challenging her! Good thing she walks close to 3miles a day at home!

Where do you find these hours? These are not the hours posted on the DIS site. Is there another site?
