I have been checking the weather channel this past week to keep an eye on the forcast for Anaheim the weekend of the 9th and 10th. Its supposed to rain both of those days! Im so bummed! I can only hope and pray that mother nature blows it a little more quickly and gets it out of the way before we get there!

I've done Disneyland in the rain. As a matter of fact, we were there in March 2006 the day they hit record rain fall. It was something crazy like 2" just that afternoon!! You know what? It was great. We all had on our dollar store ponchos (I recommend these), the stroller had it's raincover(again, a very good idea to bring if you have to use a stroller), and we walked onto all the rides we wanted. The kids liked the fact that mom and dad were jumping in the puddles. :) Just make sure your hotel has a good dryer...for your shoes at the end of the day.

Most rainy days aren't like that, though. Just duck into the stores or inside rides during the drizzle..and outside again during a break.

Disneyland can be magical in the rain, too, you just have to have a good attitude about it! Chances are you'll see a lot of sun, too. It was -2 degrees here this morning....50's and a little rain sounds good to me. (but then, I did grow up in Seattle!)

Have fun!!!

Disneyland is great in the rain seems like the crowds are extra low. If it does rain it probably won't rain all day it never does. I'm sure you will still have fun!

We've been watchign the weather too b/c we're there the 4th-8th. Right now it's showing 40% chance of rain on Thurs. the 8th. But you know what? This morning it was 10%. So I don't hold much stock in what weather.com has to say. I can guarantee you that you'll see the forecast change a dozen times between now and when you leave.

Maybe it'll rain, maybe not. It's not too bad in the rain. We did it the last 2 years. It's a bit harder with children but doable as long as you have rain jackets and/or ponchos.

ps- hope that mother nature pushes the storm back, not forward! I am not looking forward to rain with 4 kids under 6. :sad2:

The rain might actually keep the locals away, keeping the weekend crowds quite manageable for you! Bring some inexpensive rain ponchos and HAVE A BLAST!:woohoo:

I've been watching the same forecast with the same trepidation! I'll be on my Mom Only trip the 8th-11th.

The weather forecasts are very unreliable. I was watching the news within the last week and the forecast called for a 40% chance of rain and it was raining at the time. ;)

We are going to Fantasmic Saturday, I hope is does not get cancled! Other then that let it rain !!!!!!!!!!!!! It does everytime I go!

I am the opposite of most here, I HATE DL in the rain. It's a pain in the butt, who likes to walk aorund in wet sloshy socks and shoes all day. No poncho in the workd can keep the bottoms of your pants dry. Then it gets all hot and humid around your head under the poncho!! Forget it, give me sunshine any day!

I am really really hoping this is wrong or gonna go faster then they think because with little ones and strollers, rainy days at DL stink!!!

I'm praying with you! And we have near 70's here in Vegas, I thought our trip was safe!

If the weather forcast for there is like here in Vegas it is probably wrong anyway.............still have a few days to go!

What a baby! Quit your cryin':sad2:

I have always enjoyed DL in the rain. Of course there is never rain here so I kinda like that. Low crowds and I felt I had the park to myself.

HOWEVER I have yet to be in a downpour with the kids just had these experiences BEFORE kids. It's misted on us but that was no big deal but I could see how wet kids/wet stroller would get tiresome.

the forcast lies a lot. It said it was suppose to rain this whole week. It only rained on one day.

Unless you're made of sugar, you ain't going to melt! At least that's what we say in western Washington. Bring your rubber boots. All the rides will be walk ons, and it will be a blast.

Thanks everyone. I really dont mind the rain so much, its DH who hates it. He will refuse to go if he knows its raining. Lets just say, its my little secret! I will act totally suprised if it starts raining... "Oh no! Rain... I had no idea!" :lmao:

Yes with little ones that don't walk yet, it's hard. He didn't want to sit in the stroller so then you have to fit the baby and you under the poncho, but of course it's not comfortable under there for either of you then. It just makes my trip that much harder since it's just me and I have no other adult help.

Praying for NO RAIN!!! walking around for hours in wet jeans up to your knees is just not fun to me! I chafe easily! :rotfl:

I have no idea where my post went...I guess into internet oblivion but anyways...I was saying for you to bring an extra change of clothes friday and stuff em into a locker or in your stroller somewhere and if it gets really bad you can can come up to my room and change...:goodvibes

see the forecast has already changed...its saying no rain until sunday the 11th...just have to keep watching to see what will happen

Hooray!! I am sure someday I will like to be there in the rain (during the summer with shorts and sandals on it wouldn't be so bad) but not when I have an infant with me. It's no fun for either of us then!!
