Bought mugs at 2 resorts at the end of summer. Going back in less than 2 weeks. I know that the mugs are really only good for length of stay. But will the design have changed since summer?

Be forewarned: This is a very contentious subject here on the DIS.

Refillable mugs are valid only for the duration of the visit during which they're purchased, and valid only in the resort from which they're purchased. Since mugs are only good for the length of stay, it doesn't really matter whether the design has changed or not.

I agree the mugs are only good for your length of stay. However, I have seen some of the same designs over and over. It is an ethics call, on whether you resuse your cup or not. :sunny:

I have always stayed clear of the mug issue, but I do have to say that after my first onsite stay at POR.....I clearly understand why the topic can get so heated. I saw numerous old designed mugs even ones that said Dixie Landings! I also saw Typhoon Lagoon and any other mug possible being used at POR and not one comment or second glance from any CM. Lord only knows how many old current designs were being used but even changing the design doesn't stop people. It clearly says on the mug "free refills till end of your stay." I guess some interpret that differently. :confused3 or maybe some old timers get some secret ok or something.

As for your question, I really doubt the designs have changed.

I always stay away from these topics because people are so darn hateful and rude, but I would like to say.....

At the price of drinks in Disney...if you have filled your mug 7 or more times, you have certainly had your moneys worth. Yes, everything in Disney is high, but you cannot go to Disney and expect to save $$$.
