Oh No! My team partner is in another corral!

Does anybody have any experience with having their partner placed in a different corral and getting it changed? My DD and I are running the Princess Half as a team, and I noticed we are in different corrals. I signed us both up, and input our estimated finish time as the same. Neither one of us submitted a previous race time, but somehow I got put in J while DD is in P. Yes, I know I can start from P, but would certainly prefer her to be up in J. We both trained at a 13 minute/mile pace.

I guess I thought signing up as a team would guarantee us being put together. Guess its just for the matching bibs! Oh well...

Unfortunately, registering as a team doesn't guarantee anything with regard to corral placement. Team members don't have to run together - your team time for results purposes is simply the total of your two (net) times added together. In order to run together, you'd have to move back.

Ditto on that. I did the Dopey in January and my friend did the Goofy and since we run the same pace pretty much we were doing this together...but we were assigned two different corals. She was in M while I was in K...so I had to drop back to M.

At first I was upset at the idea of starting two corals behind what I should have been - esp for the full marathon portion...but it turned out to be fine in the end.

So one of you will have to drop back to the other coral for you to do it together...you will be fine.
