I got my room for July through Orbitz because they offered me not only the summer discount but an additional 15% off. Then I purchased park tickets through Disney. Now I am finding out since I didn't buy them together, I may only get my FP's 30 days out instead of 60! :headache:

That doesn't seem right? I made a room only reservation and then bought my tickets seperate later on and I still got to do my FP+ at 60 days?

As long as both your room reservation and park admission are linked to MDE, you will be able to make advance FP+ selections beginning at 60 days from check-in. It doesn't have to be a package, you just need both linked to MDE.

Are you sure that's true? I just booked my room through Orbitz. I thought it was 60 days as long as you stay at a Disney hotel. Not how it was booked.

Yeah, link your tickets and reservations to your MDE account (It's not the confirmation code for the hotel but there's an actual reservation number that goes along with it - If it's not shown in your orbitz account call and get it because it is there in your reservation information.) Once they're both linked the MDE will automatically grant you 60 day access.

My room is on MDE and shows as room only. My tickets are also on my MDE. Right now if I look at the FP section, the next 30 days are highlighted. Wednesday is 60 days out so when I check-in on Wednesday, you think I will be able to get FP?

Yes. The FP+ section only shows 30 days out until your 60 day window opens.

Yep, you should be able to.

1. That's normal.
2. Yes. It doesn't matter where of how you bought your tickets. Everyone who stays onsite can book 60 days out.

Booked room thru orbitz for our June trip and Cheaptickets for park tickets. Use the hotel confirm number to link in MDE. At 60 days the 60 day FP window opens up for LOS.

You should have no problem booking your Fastpasses at 60 days out.

I booked my upcoming trip through Orbitz and got my tickets from Undercover Tourist. I linked both the hotel reservation and the tickets to my MDE account, and my 60-day booking window opened with no problem. I booked all of my Fastpasses for my entire vacation at 60 days. :thumbsup2

We booked our room through Disney and bought the tickets separately. My MIL's room I booked through Orbitz and bought her ticket separately as well. We were all able to make our FP selections at 60 days with no issues.

Sounds like a great deal. How much did you save?

there is an Orbitz booking number and a hotel confirmation number. its this confirmation number, right? This is the one that I used for my MDE account.

Have you tried calling Orbitz and asking for the MDE account number?

I'm not sure, but the booking number and confirmation numbers may deal with Orbitz alone, etc.

You'll be fine. It's in Mesaboy's thread and I wasn't sure I believed it but it works just fine. I used orbitz plus Undercover Toursit. Up until midnight I only had 30 days out but on the 60 day mark all 60 days opened up! As long as you see your hotel reservation and your tickets are in there and linked you should be totally fine!!! No stress!!! Weird...but fine! Good luck :)

If you put the confirmation number into your MDE (add a reservation) and your hotel shows up on your itinerary then that's the one - if not you'll have to call Orbitz and ask for the Walt Disney World number. (I would hope they know what you're asking for by now!)

@WINTER - I hope you got my PM! and that the FP+ work out for you:)

For those wondering about the discount-I booked our June trip with a 15% orbitz discount (went through ebates as well) and it stacked with Disney's Spring discount-great savings!
