I love rodents.....I work with them on a professional basis (okay, I do research, flame me!)....but, as much as I love mice and rats, I would NEVER pick up a wild one. Unfortunately, wild mice and rats (yes, even thos Mickeys in your own home) carry some potentially dangerous diseases. Hope that Mommy and Daddy mice already produced their replacement litter, and these were the extras. Do not try and raise them, do not touch them. Disgard them. If you feel REALLY sorry for them, put them outside in a sheltered area with plenty of food and water and leave it to "fate".
....I know, this is really hard. I agree. But we'd like to keep you around this place and NOT have you spreading something horrific like a hantavirus....and think what you could spread to poor Mickey and Minnie!
