Oh no...I can't believe it broke!

My 4 1/2 yo dd broke her tooth yesterday biting a lollipop that the Easter Bunny brought. So far, it isn't bothering her except that it is kind of sharp. It was a bottom molar. We have an appointment today at 3 to get it checked out. She has only been to the dentist 1x for a cleaning so she is a little nervous. I'm hoping they can repair it without getting into a root canal. Since it is a baby tooth I would have them pull it before allowing a root canal. I guess we'll just wait and see what the dentist says this aftenoon.

Oh no! Maybe the dentist can file it down so it isn't so sharp and she can keep her tooth until it falls out on it's own.

Just came back from the dentist. My DD was amazing! What a brave little trooper. She had her tooth filled but it took some work to get it to that point. She never even flinched! They gave her a little gas and then a couple of novicanes and she was great. Thanks for the good wishes!
