Oh No Grad Night!

Ugh...I booked a 4 night cruise and already got my airfare for next year. We had planned on spending 3 nights at Universal on April 27-30th.

I now see that 2 of those 3 days are Grad night!

Now what? Is it even worth going now? Is it going to be crazy crowded and overrun with kids?

I'm okay with early closing as we usually travel on the off season. I am just worried about crowds at the parks. Are we in trouble?

Not really do the studios first then go over to ioa when studios shuts down for the grad advent

Thanks for the post, Seeker. It reminded me to check the calendar for first week of May. We've been trying to decide which night to do Blue Man Group and with a gradadventure on that Friday, it looks like a perfect evening to set aside for BMG.

So I saw this thread and checked our dates, and the first Grad Night is our last day at US - April 7. What time will the parks close that day? I guess we will just head back to the resort for pool time and dinner that night.

Since grad bash is from 7 pm to 2
I would imagine studios would close to the public at 7

I need to look at the UO website to check that

You can find all the info there

It will list the agendas and dates/ hours for grad bash for the high schoolers and grad adventure for the middle school info

Middle school events are not at the same time and run into May

What about hotels? Do they typically stay onsite or are they just there for the evening?

Mostly locals for grad nights

You have to be 21 to book a room and show ID at the hotels
If not 21, no room for you

The grad bash and grad adventure brings in local school age peeps

I have not read it effecting the hotels

You should be okay in the parks for a majority of the park day
