have just been reading the post about if there should be an age limit on the rides at disney for older people.

And now I'am starting to feel sad :( It has nearly been a year since my trip to the states and to WDW.

WDW rocked!! i wish i could go back soon.

I thought i had it sussed planning a trip to Australia's gold coast (leave in a week) and doing the theme parks there to take my mind of not going on holiday to the states and going to WDW.

The theme parks in gold coast are my poor mans Disney.

What do you do to stop feeling sad??

I'm off to make a cup of tea in my Magic Kingdom mug. That will cheer me up (I hope).

you won't believe this but just walked into the lounge to go to the kitchen and the tv was on and it was showing the Tower of terror  ride.

I thought it was something to do with disney then it finished and went back to a golf game.

I get sad too whenever I don't have a trip planned to Disney, so my answer to stop feeling sad...... plan another trip! even if it's far away, it will give you something to look forward to !!
I'm sorry you feel so sad, I've been there too, Disney is so magical, it's so hard to go back to our "real" worlds !

I think most of us fanatics go through Disney depression at times. We too took a several day trip to a Six Flags theme park this summer-- to try and ease the "disney depression"-- it took a slight edge off. Best thing to do (for me anyhow) is to try and pick a target date to go back-- no matter how far out. Saving everyday (even if it's only $0.50) lets me know I'm doing something to get back.

MAN O' MAN I KNOW THE FEELING.
Look and your photos and smile.

I agree! Plan another trip! Even if it is far away it puts a little bit of happiness where you were sad... Then think aboout how you can save for the trip.. That gets me really excited!

I just went 2 years between trips, after a streak of at least one, usually more trips per year. I had no trip planned & was in a funk over it. The only thing that pulled me out, was saving for & planning a weekend getaway. We did it on the cheap -but just knowing it was coming chased those blues away.
I'm going back to the constant saving/planning cycle. I'm much happier that way.
