Oh no another tipping ?

Sorry if this has been asked before but we will be on the ddp and there will be six of us so tip is automatically 18% no problem with that but is there any way to have the tip divided individually per person or would this be too much of a hassle for the restaurants.Not wanting to be a pain but would be nice if it could be broken down.TIA

I think that is asking a bit much of staff at WDW or anywhere as tip is charged on the bill for the whole table. If your group wants to divide each meal's tip by six rather than taking turns picking up the tip, I think you should be responsible to settle up between yourselves rather than expecting the staff to handle your financial agreements.

If you don't want to just divide it by 6, I would bring a calculator. Having worked at a restaurant, that is not something we would do.

You should take a look at the tipping "sticky" on this forum. The mods are probably going to shut this thread, as all tipping questions are to be only on that sticky if I'm not mistaken.

thanks for the replies.Sorry did not see the sticky or would of posted there mods please move this thread.I figured it would be a pain but wanted some clarification that it was not acceptable no big deal pretty good at math and will have a calculator on cell phone.But since we all are not on the same resort ressie how does the ddp work for different rooms not wanting to cause any problems when we are there that is why I am trying to get clarification on all of these questions so we don't annoy/upset any of our servers trying to make it easier for everyone involved not expecting anyone to go out of their way or expect them to make any exceptions just need to know what the proper way of doing these things are.Sorry if anyone thought I expected them to seperate the tip as I do not just didn't know if it was something that they did or not that was all.

I do not expect them to handle our financial agreements as to which we are each paying for ourselves and are each on the dining plan and just wanted to work out the tipping arrangements before we left as to not cause anyone any problems.I am however in a state of shock over your post suggesting that we would expect the staff to do it for us it was just a question as to how disney handles this with a party of six or moreand with different KTTW cards that was all sorry if my question upset you in any way

I have not read the sticky but if your question is not answered there, call Disney. They should be able to answer your question.

Just tell the server you need separate checks. This is a routine requst. I don't understand why everone here is making a fuss about it.
