Hi All,

We leave on Sunday for DW. It is our first time as a family (DD 9, DS 11). We are a veteran DL family FYI. Our first day, Monday, will be at HS. I've been told that this may be a "half day" park. We are staying at the BWI, so we plan on taking advantage of early morning entry and racing to ROTR. Then ToT and then SDD. Of course we will try to get on RR, MMRR, TSM, etc. We have lunch reservations at the Sci-Fi Dine in. If we get everything done, we will probably head over to Epcot to enjoy food and then the extended evening hours.

So, with that long preamble. Is there anything we shouldn't miss at HS? Shows, unique snacks? etc.? I don't want to leave the park too early and miss something we will regret (although we do have a 5 day park hopper, so we have some flexibility).

Thanks!

It depends on how much your family loves Star Wars. My husband could spend all day in Galaxy’s Edge just taking in all the details.

I thought RnRC was worth the wait, personally. If you're already DL experienced and have Galaxy's Edge already, it's certainly a half-day park provided you get your Toy Story stuff done.

The Frozen Sing a long is an absolute must, even if you hate Frozen. Trust me.
I also love walking through One Man's Dream. There is more than enough to fill a full day, I couldn't imagine only devoting a half day there. Smugglers Run is a really fun, interactive ride. Especially if anyone is even a mild Star Wars fan.

I was considering skipping this, but won't now. my girls have grown out of frozen, but they should still love it :)

My teenage son liked it. He liked it so much he got all of his friends to go during their senior trip. He said they all sang along and had a great time. It’s a funny show!!

on the small things side, my family loves Num num cookies. Also the ronto wraps are amazing.

Just want to add that RotR and ToT are on complete opposite sides of the park, you may want to ride SDD in between. The ToT line is slower to get long.
