Oh No!! Another camera question!

Ok, I posted a thread about taking our digital camera through airport security. But now, I am thinking about taking our 35mm "just in case" we mess something up on our digital camera since we are new to all this.

Can I pack my 35mm film in my suitcase, or does that go through some kind of high powered x-ray???

Last silly question, I promise!

I would take it in your carry on Karen. I have heard that the newer x-ray machines for checked baggage can destroy film.
