I can't believe today at school.

When my dad gets home I am so dead.

I hate my fathead teacher!!

She doesn't even teach anything, when she has to yell at you she gives you
a 0! My grade in Social Studies dropped from an A to a C in just 4 weeks, how
that was I have not a clue, since she doesn't even teach or do anything! She
just sits there and talks about food or something, or she makes us watch
these boring videos of Social Studies that don't help us at all.

A C means I'm on probation on the gifted/AP program. If I don't get it up
by the end of the school year (which happens to be the day VMK ends!!!) means I lose a lot of my real life friends too in school.

PLUS, my Social Studies end-of-the-year big test that determines my promotion to 8th grade, had nothing she taught in it! In fact she taught
nothing at all even! Sometimes she'll give us sheets and tell us to look up
the answers in the Social Studies book, and we'll have 50 things to look
up in the whole book in just an hour. Most of our class don't even finish
half of it. And if we get a bad grade, she'll count it twice to get us to learn
from it.

So anyways, our whole class was guessing, yes guessing, on a huge end
of the year test that determines the promotion to the next grade. So basically
we all failed. I'm dead!

I feel bad for you

I'd try talking to the principal about it if (s)he listens to kids

I hope you get your grade up

I'd talk to your principal. If that is the issue, DEFINETLEY. Are there any other teachers that teach in that grade? Ask if you can get transferred. Same with my Social Studies teacher. He doesn't teach us, and yet he makes us do the same thing for every chapter. Fill out a organizer from our textbooks. I already have a C+ in his class.

Like I said, Ask if you can transfer. Also, talk to your dad. Maybe he will understand. (My dad wouldn't though. eh)

We're here for you :)

Edit: This girl who always has issues, got transferred from our class to another homeroom. She had ' problems ' with one of the other kids.

If all the other students in the class are also feeling the same way, talk to the principal or even the guidance counselor. If it's easier, have someone write a letter (make sure it's not too accusatory or it might just sound like "angry little kids") and get all the students who agree to sign it. Then give it to someone in authority.

If you are a good student with other subjects (especially since you're in the AP program), it will be even more obvious that your social studies teacher should NOT be teaching. The principal needs to see and wonder, "Why is it that everyone is only having problems with her?"

Good luck!
