I had no idea we were getting snow this morning. I got up, did my usual things, then went into the kitchen to make coffee and there it was out the window--snow and a lot of it!

I was going to go the supermarket this morning, but seeing all that snow on the road, forget it! We'll make due with whatever food is already here.

It has snowed almost every day since Christmas Eve here! I feel like I am back in Michigan!

I woke up to snow too - only about 3 in. My parents are supposed to visit today from NYC so I hope this doesn't hold them back from coming.

I'm sitting here at work looking out the window and it is a whiteout. I see snow as far as they eye can see.

It would have been nice if they actually were forecasting how horrible it was out there THIS MORNING. I mean come on, the news made it sound like the roads were just wet and they were completely snow covered and not a plow in sight...and I am talking about the major highways. It was a horrible commute in this morning and I don't think anyone was prepared for it.

Really! I had no idea we were expecting snow this morning either. I was watching 69News and they mentioned staying back from road crews working to clear the snow. Why weren't the roads pre-treated yesterday? DH saw a plow truck on 222 just before 8am. ??? That was too late. I'm glad I'm not working this week and didn't have to go out in it, not that I'm afraid to drive in snow.

I was a little surprised to see the snow too. However, it appears to have stopped (here) for now. They're calling for sleet followed by rain later ... yuck. :crazy2:

Tell me about it! I have to go to the grocery store. I am trying to wait it out a bit though. My dh said the roads were really bad.

...YEAH!! WTH??? I had to go to Walmart to get a couple of things, but now I don't know if I will be going....

No snow here! :goodvibes
Just thought I'd rub it in. I'm originally from Bergen County! I've been living in FL for the past 15 years and don't miss the snow at all!!!:)

I should hook you up with my brother in Tampa, Aunt Patti. He called me yesterday to rub it in that they had a "cold snap" with temps only in the 70's. :sad2:

I'm about an hour south of Tampa, and it was in the upper 30s when I left for work on Tuesday morning.

We do get a "cold snap" once in a while. should be around 75 today, then temps will start to fall through the weekend. Down in the 30s at night to around 60 during the day for the weekend and beginning of next week.

BRRRRRR!!!!!! I guess I'll have to turn the heat on! :rolleyes1
