he has a MONSTER zit right under his nose. The thing looks like it is about to sprout legs and walk off. (that would be a good thing, it would be off his face)

Being a girl at that age, I was always able to use make up to try to cover up things like that. What can boys do?

My son uses the Burt's Bees blemish stick and he swears by it. He washes his face with Sea Breeze and then uses the stick on his acne.

Bremenn Emergency Zit Stick sold at Ulta. DD had a honker nose zit pop up last week and her friend used this stuff on her. It was so much smaller by the afternoon! Nothing else we tried helped.

Being a microbiology student right now, I have learned from my professor that when you have a zit put bacitracin on it. It is bacteria under the skin that causes the formation of pus, swelling and redness. Apply the bacitracin with a Q-tip (not your finger!!) several times a day and that should nip it fairly quick. Do not squeeze since that will cause the redness to stick around and can aggrevate it. I'm waiting to try this on my DD16 and DS13. Let me know if this works!

I would keep Acnevir on hand. Its in gel form and you can just rub into the zit or problem areas couple times a day. Has really helped my horrible skin issues. I use both the soap and the gel. Get mine from drugstore.com but your local stores might have it.
