Back story, Going to WDW in September, planned on attending one MNSSHP, purchased tickets online and received am email print at home confirmation and no problems. Printed those and stashed them in my trip folder.

Fast forward to today, decided to do another MNSSHP during the same trip time but a different day and ordered tickets online, same as before. NO email confirmation with print at home tickets. I called Disney and got transferred here and there, and finally they decided that I would be OK with taking my confirmation number along with my ID to guest services the day of the party to retrieve my tickets for that day. My new tickets show up on MDE, but I have no link to print at home. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thank you. I'm stressing out a bit.

Not through using MDE, but always before when purchasing MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets, I have simply taken my confirmation #, ID, and credit card used to make the purchase to the ticket window at MK/TTC (maybe even at will call? It's been a few years) and picked up my tickets with no problem.

I paid with a gift card and a credit card. Would you suggest taking both?

I'm sure it will be fine. I've heard of these glitches happening before, but if you have a confirmation number, I'm sure that will cover any questions that might arise.

I have always picked them up when we check in to our hotel. Bring whatever you have and they will figure it out. :goodvibes

Hmmm.... :scratchin

We are going to MNSSHP in September and I bought our tickets online too... they immediately linked to my MDE and we were mailed plastic tickets to our house.

As long as you have the Confirmation Number and your ID matches the information that you gave, you won't have to worry about the Credit Card/Gift Card. I was able to pick up my MVMCP "will call" tickets without having to show my credit card.

Thanks for the replies, I am more at ease now. Disney couldn't figure out why it worked the first time, but glitched the second. Again thanks for all the responses.
:thumbsup2

I am on hold after having a " live chat " after purchasing the ticket. Real cute attitude when I explained the option to print at home is on the site. I want the hard ticket in hand. I don't want to waste time going to Will Call. Well apparently,...snippets of chat CMs answers:

"Unfortunately, because of how the Magic Bands work, printed tickets simply do not work anymore, so we have removed the option from our website. If you received a print-at-home option for your order, than you are experiencing an error that we will report. However, if you already have a Magic Band, then you don't need the ticket; it would be linked to your account! "

"I guess I don't understand why you don't want to use the Magic Band? You can call 407-566-4985 and speak to our Ticket Services department about having the tickets issued to your home. The hard ticket will function identically to your Magic Band at this point "

:sad2: yeah ok I'm thinking MB never have problems

Edited..very easy fix once I actually got through after about 20 minutes on hold CM understood why I don't just want to rely on MB sending my order Fedex so very nice of her pixiedust:

We accidentally left our tickets at home one time. When we called Disney, the CM told us if he can pull up our tickets, then anyone at a ticket window should be able to do the same. He was able to confirm them, but then we did have a little bit of trouble getting them reissued at the ticket window, but eventually got it straightened out.

Since the guy on the phone assured us he could "see" the tickets, we knew we were going to be okay when we hit the snag at the ticket window.

Also, will call can be done at any ticket window. We picked them up at DTD where there was no line...of course we had the little snafu and maybe that's why, but there was no line.

So would you suggest I call them and ask for them to send me hard copies of the tickets for MNSSHP? I don't want to have any problems once we arrive at the World.

Unless you do not mind going to Will Call Yes I would suggest you do. Mind you there is a charge to mail when you pick that option (and I never even mentioned that when I had a real conversation on the phone) but she was really kind and is sending no charge....probably because of the wrong info on the website. I was prepared to pay the extra.

I was just about to purchase my MNSSHP tickets and there is no delivery charge for standard shipping. It said $0.00. If you wanted it faster it cost $15 I think. Also someone else stated that the CM said they shouldn't have the option to print at home and it was still there as well.

We are DVC so always do will call pick up. We Always have the tix in hand before party day. As long as it shows up n MDE, I wouldn't worry -you can make FP ahead that way and print out your confirmation number so they can be looked up (I would do this for both parties as I would expect a problem with the ones you did print!). Maybe because of the ones you did print you might be able to get disney to send you tix for both nights in one mailing!

Yes that is what Pixel...ha I forgot the user name from one page over, the one with Jack Sparrow picture ...should do, call. Give them both confirmation numbers be nice of course but persistent. I'm sure someone there will understand and mail both to you. It was their error after all not ours.

Just be aware the CM will give you new confirmation #'s and should also send you an email confirming the conversation. Remind them to do that. You can then still do your FP+ selections for the party day ( between 4 & 7 on those tickets ) I will do that when the ticket gets here. ( tracking info shows as of tomorrow )

Believe me when you get to the party, see the crowds, and see the will call/guest relations area, you will thank me that you have those hard tickets in hand should a MB not show them.

UPDATE: I did get the Fedex delivery as promised with the actual hard ticket.
Now it's linked in my MDE by me. and no further hassles. :thumbsup2

So I did not see this thread before buying my tickets. This morning, I bought 4 MNSSHP tickets and it gave me the option to print at home. It automatically linked them to MDE. We are staying for 5 days but only doing the party. We have no other park days planned and no other tickets. I made FP today and now I am not sure if I should keep these paper tickets, exchange them, or can we use our MB to get in? We are arriving just in time to change and get to MK at 4. I don't want to go to GS/will call to exchange these paper tickets if I don't have to. Thanks!

Update: After consideration and constant worry about the lines at will call. I decided to call Disney and request hard copy tickets to have in hand at MNSSHP. Like I stated before, first set of tickets printed out fine, second set did not. The solution Disney offered was to cancel the first set of tickets, and re issue a hard copy to be sent out. I received a new confirmation number. I went on to check my DME and now only one set of tickets is linked to my DME. The first set. Before both nights were linked.

Now it does offer me the option to add tickets to my DME, but do I have to wait till the tickets are actually in hand to add them, because the confirmation number did not work? Does it matter if they are linked?
DME makes things so complicated sometimes. :confused3 Any help would be appreciated.
