Oh my GOODNESS...WE'RE BACK!!!! (the end up 6/24)

Changes have been made!
We have a 5:30 ADR on 5/6 at WCC, and a 7:30 ADR for Raglan Road on 5/8. I had no trouble getting the dates and times I wanted, hopefully that's a sign of low crowds!

I'm going to try to figure out how to post a pic of us one of these days (and so I can add them to my TR once I do it!

I did it!!

This one is from our cruise in 9/06.

DH won't listen to me, so instead of babbling to him, I'm going to babble to you Dissers....even if no one is listening!!!

Here's our itinerary so far -

5/6 - arrive about 1, get to POR and either check in or drop off bags. Grab lunch or a snack at food court, explore a little, and be ready to go at 4 or so to WCC for our 5:30 ADR. I've never been to the WL so I want to walk around a little, maybe have a drink. After dinner, head to MK for some of EMH...get a few rides in hopefully, then back to POR (2 TS for WCC, and either 2 S or 2 CS at the POR food court)

5/7 - AK for early EMH. I don't LOVE this park so we should be able to see everything we want to see in the morning. All the rides I want to do are open during EMH, so hopefully we can get the big ones out of the way (or at least ge FPs) and then see FOTLK early and then head out. I think we'll eat lunch at AK before we go. After AK we'll head to one of the mini golf courses, not sure which one yet, then back to POR for a little while. OR - back to POR first, then mini-golf, then bus to BWI and walk through to IG at Epcot so we're close to Alfredo's for our 7PM ADR. After dinner we'll most likely see Illumniations and then head back to POR. (2 CS at AK, 2 TS at Alfredo's)

5/8 - Epcot for early EMH, do what we can until noon or so, and then head to DTD. Lunch at WPE and then shopping and DQ. We have a 7:30 ADR at Raglan Road so we'll either go right there, or head back to POR for a little while first. I'm loving having the boat!! I hope to get to the BW for nightlife (Jellyroll's). (2 CS at WPE, 2 TS at RR) (The other option here would be for me to head to DTD to shop while DH goes back to POR, then we meet for DQ and RR)

5/9 - This is going to be our MGM day. Not sure if we'll sleep in and head there for noon or so and stay right through our 6:55 ADR at 50's and Fantasmic, or if we'll go in the morning, head back to POR for a rest, and then go back for dinner...probably depends on the nightlife the night before!! (2 CS for lunch, 2 TS for 50's)

5/10 - Depending on how we feel, morning EMH at MK, back to POR, then 'Ohana for our 5:30 ADR and back to MK for Spectro and anything we missed...or sleep in and head there for noonish and spend the rest of the night. (2 CS for lunch, 2 TS for 'Ohana)

5/11 - our last full day  We'll probably play it by ear...hit anything we didn't see at whatever park we want...enjoy POR...go to TL or BB...not sure. I want to head to Epcot by mid afternoon, we have a 7PM ADR at Le Cellier, and we'll probably hang out at WS for EMH and just soak it all in...maybe Jellyroll's one more time before heading back to POR. (2 CS for lunch, 2 TS for Le Cellier)

5/12 - we have an 11AM flight out of MCO so I assume ME will pick us up around 8-8:30...I figure we'll use any S credits we have left (if any) to grab something, and then eat at the airport before we board. We'll be home in CT by around 2 so we'll have all night to recover!

Have I mentioned that I can't wait??!!

Sounds great! We're going a couple of weeks after you are. My DH thinks I'm a little nutty for trying to plan this all now, but he's willing to go along with me. :) We didn't spring for PH's, and the only thing I regret is that my ADR's kind of dictate our park days, if you know what I mean... No going back somewhere after dinner, or going into Epcot for the 6 meals I think I'd like to try there...

It sounds like you have a nice plan! Enjoy!

We were getting PH's anyway, but they also are having a promotion while we're there that we are getting PH's and the water parks for FREE. You should call...not sure when it ends, maybe it will still be going on when you're there!!

I don't think at any point in your commenting on my TR did I realize you were from my area and a sox fan! Or maybe I did but it was so long ago that I forgot. You married a non-dis, non-baseball loving guy. I'm dating a Yankees fan!!! I think I have you beat.

I loved Raglan Road when I ate there. I can't remember what time the musicians and dancer started up but it was enjoyable just to see the women dance. (She is so tiny though!) The bar is really nice.

LOL
I actually grew up in MA (western), went to college in Worcester, and lived in central MA until a couple of years after college...then moved to CT after I met my DH. There are WAY too many Yankees fans here! And yes, you have me beat...I'd rather a non-baseball guy, LOL. At least this way I get my way. He likes to go to games, but I think that's because there's beer there, that's really his only requirement most days.:lmao: :drinking1

Made some changes...I decided to change up our park days, but wanted to make sure I could change a few ADRs around so I called today and was still able to get everything I wanted! Not sure if that means May won't be busy...or if we're eating at not so popular places!

5/6 - arrive around 1, we'll spend some time at POR and then head to Epcot for a 7PM ADR at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma. After dinner will probably stay for Illuminations.

5/7 - Still planning to hit AK for EMH. After that we'll head back to POR for a bit, then to DTD to hang out. We have a 5:30 ADR for Raglan Road and then we might head to MK for Spectro. It's only this night and Thursday, so we'll see how we feel.

5/8 - head to MK for the day. We have a 6:40 ADR at WCC so we'll go right there from MK.

5/9 - still planning to make this our MGM day, didn't change out 50's ADR.

5/10 - Epcot in the morning. Depending on what we see, we'll head back to POR for a rest and then meet my cousin and her family at the Poly for our dinner with them at 'Ohana at 5:30. If we didn't get to Spectro on Monday, we'll go this night. If we saw it, we'll play it by ear. Maybe back to Epcot, maybe MK, maybe neither!

5/11 - not much of a plan for this day. We have a 7PM ADR at Le Cellier that I didn't change, so we'll head to Epcot at some point. We'll see what we can, eat, and then just soak up WS during evening EMH. Maybe we can hit a ride or 2 during Illuminations if we've seen it already.

I also want to mini-golf and get to DisneyQuest so we'll have to fit those in, most likely on Monday or Friday.

Hope this will help us avoid big crowds as much as possible. As I said before, DH isn't a huge fan  so I want to make sure I can make it as fun for him as possible!!

I think I'm going to switch our AK and Epcot mornings...do Epcot on Monday (5/7) and AK on Thursday (5/10).

What do you think?

My DH is NOT a Disney fan either. I think he only goes because it makes me happy and my parents live there, so we see them while we are there. I thought he was going to freak out the other night when we were talking about our up coming trip and I said Walt Disney World and DS (3 1/2) said "Walt Disney World? I like Walt Disney World, can we go there?" Of course he has been there every year since he was 1 months old. I am raising him right, but hubby thinks I am creating a monster. It's :sad2: that DH just doesn't get it :)

We might run into eachother if you do that, we have our Epcot day planned on 5/7 and on 5/10 we'll be at.... Animal Kingdom! :goodvibes

:lmao: Am I noticing a trend here, My DH is not a big disney fan. We first visited wdw together with our then DS3 I LOVED IT! and cried when it was time to go home. So in 2006 (I had my daughter in between) we took our DS6and DD2 back to the world again, now we normally stay 2 weeks since we live in the Cayman Islands so it can be very expensive, dispite my evidence( photos on photos even vidoe tape a laughing and smiling on my husbands part) he still pretends not to be a disney fan I had to beg for our trip in 2008! but already I can't wait. I'm too excited to sleep ! read the unoffical guide to Disney world in 4 days cover to cover.

Anyway enjoy your trip.....

LOL
It DOES seem to be a trend. I know my DH will have fun once we're there, but he'll never admit it.

What do you think?

5/6 (Sunday) - arrive around 1:30 from Key West (we're spending 4 days there first), we'll spend some time at POR (hopefully our room will be ready when we get there) and then head to Epcot for a 6PM ADR at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma. After dinner we will probably stay for Illuminations. We'll be there other times during the week so if we miss it or don't have a great location tonight, it's ok.

5/7 (Monday) - Epcot for opening. We'll see what we can/want to and then head back to POR for a little break. We have an 8PM ADR at Raglan Road, so we'll head to DTD for that. If we can, I'd like to hit DQ before it. We'll probably hang out at RR and PI or DTD for the nightlife.

5/8 (Tuesday) - MK for opening. We'll see what we want/can and head back to POR for a break. We have an 8:10 ADR at WCC. This gives us a break and puts is at the WL for the Electrical Water Pageant which I've never seen.

5/9 (Wednesday) - MGM day. Hopefully be there for opening, break at POR and then back to MGM for a 6:55 ADR at 50's, stay for Fantasmic and then head to Boardwalk for the nightlife there (Jellyrolls!!)

5/10 (Thursday) - AK for opening. I don't see us being there longer than a few hours. DH and I both don't love this park so we'll see our (my) favorites and head out. We'll take a break at POR after that. We're meeting my cousin and her family at 'Ohana for dinner at 5:30. After that is kind of up in the air. After dinner we'll head to MK for Spectro. It's only showing this night and once earlier in the week (Monday), but this fits our schedule the best.

5/11 - not much of a plan for this day. We have a 7PM ADR at Le Cellier, so we'll head to Epcot at some point. It's an evening EMH so we'll take advantage of that to see World Showcase if we didn't earlier in the week.

What do you think?

I think that you are a super-over-planning certified WDW Nut....just like me!!

(But planning and dreaming is half the fun, isn't it?!)
