It's possible OP booked her stay before they recategorized the rooms
When they've done that in the past those who booked before the new category was added were put in the new category but not charged any difference. Sort of an upgrade I suppose but seeing how the only options before didn't include the new view it sort of is but sort of isn't.
For example, if a resort had 50 rooms they called Standard but redid the definitions and ended up with 30 Standard and 20 Water view, but had 40 Standard bookings already in place when they did that then 10 of those would have to be moved to the new Water view category. Hopefully that makes sense.
No idea if that happened here or not but it has worked that way in the past
