Thanks, I'll need some happy viewing after Event Horizon! Did you know that there were some scenes from that movie that were so violent and graphic they were struck from the final cut?

I saw it when I was about 10. My family rented it not realizing it was mostly a horror movie. We were all a bit traumatized, though I've forgotten all of it now (25 years later).

I saw Event Horizon in theaters. Good cast, and I like the premise, but meh. Today I’d consider it seriously overrated since it has a cult following. Basically it’s like Hellraiser in space.
