"Oh my aching ankles" a Poem

"Alas the park was indeed quite crowded that night, as the parade ended people packed closely on my left and on my right. The sea of humanity began to flow, down mainstream we moved carefully and slow. Suddenly I spotted it, coming fast from behind, wheels churning quickly, fear raced thru my mind. The pain then proceeded not once but thrice, as the strollers front wheels against my ankles did slice. I shrieked in pain, and quickly turned about, but the pusher of the giant stroller ignored my shout. She proceeded to push forward, striking once more, then just went around me without a glance and into the emporium’s side door. Why oh why can this behavior be, whatever happened to our civility?"
