I downloaded Mickey by Toni Basil because I was singing it and Mo didn't believe it was an actual song. So I get it and play it for her and she LOVES it. We've been playing it for a few weeks and I just heard her singing it...

"It's guys like you Mickey" has become

"It smells like you Mickey"

LOL

It is almost has bad as when she sings Pocahontas and instead of "You think I'm an ignorant savage" she sings "You think I'm an egg sandwich".

Kills me I tell ya!

Oh these are so funny, I love when we do these threads.

When DS was in preschool, they were singing "Home on the Range". One line that should hav been:

"Where the deer and the antelope play" became

"Where the deer and Harry will play" (We still have no idea who Harry is, lol)

Oh! I just thought of another one. This is Christams Carol related. There is a line in Have a Holly Jolly Christmas that goes:

Someone is waiting there, KISS her once for me.

Of course, DS being a typical 4 year old boy (at the time) heard and sang this version:

Someone is waiting there, KICK her once for me. (and of course that is the version he prefers.

The home on the range song reminded me of my version from when I was little. While bored on the plane (to DISNEY, of course!!!) when I was quite young, my brother (Matt) and I decided to invent a song to help pass the time. I only remember one line:

"Bored, bored on the plane
Where the Amy and Matthew complain!"

We sang this at the top of our lungs. The poor people on the plane

There's an old song that has a line, "there's a bad moon on the rise". It was in Halloween DTV if anyone remembers that... great show Anyway, when I was little I thought it was "there's a bathroom on the right".

Then there's that Aaron Neville song, "Everybody Plays The Fool", which sounds for all the world like "Everybody plays with food".

Well....this is not a song, but it's funny.

The kids have been on a Spiderman kick recently and watched it just about everyday right before school started. Well, 4yo DD decided that Green Goblin, instead of saying "God speed Spiderman" at the last battle, was saying "Gotta speak Spanish Spiderman". She has his creepy voice and all....
