Its a shame but not surprising, they were already making a big loss then Woolworths Entertainment UK went into administration. They supply Zavvi.

Rumours are that another big company is going to the wall in the new year too.

Unfortunately both my boys got Zavvi vouchers for Christmas. Got to return them to the administrators and hope they get the money back.

Unfortunately its more like 4 major stores. I work for a Credit Insurance company and there are several large names in similar positions to what Woolies were several weeks before they went into administration. I just hope they are lucky enough to find buyers etc.

I feel sorry for the staff, and those of other companies currently in financial difficulties. The uncertainty must be horrible. My bf's dad works for Jaguar and recently had to take a pay cut though he's fortunate with regards to his position and the skills he has (done a lot of different jobs before this one), other staff are definitely feeling the pinch

That's not good. It makes me nervous that I've got a stash of WHSmith vouchers (that I've bought off my kids over the years) perhaps I should spend them sooner rather than later.
