That might be my quote but that doesn't say that just because he had adopted children that he's infertile. It simply says that he had been married twice previously with no children, a long term relationship with no children and then "got Katie pregnant" (a self professed virgin until marriage) within 3 months of meeting her. Those are facts. Well ok, the getting Katie pregnant is not a fact.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

i'm confused? if he's infertile who was the father of the baby nicole discovered she was carrying/miscarried right after he surprised her with the divorce announcement? he was all hot and heavy to say there had been no intimate relationship for an extended period prior to the announcement and drag out the settlement process until some legal analyists pointed out (some tv shows and in print) that a dna test could have been performed on the fetus which would have categoricaly proven who the father was. as soon as that came out he dropped his claims of 'no intimacy' and settled very quickly. if he were truly infertile i doubt he would have hesitated to secure the results of that paternity test.

Quite frankly. I think she's one of the most gorgeous baby girls I've ever seen. Course, I have all boys. ;) I even think her hair is adorable. I've seen babies with that much. I also think she looks JUST like Katie. However. Her eyes, are totally her fathers. Chris Klien. No doubt. :sunny:

OK, I'm back! I'm still a little dizzy, but I'll report what I got.

It took quite a bit to find an issue of Vanity Fair. I walked around the city for quite a bit. I finally found myself in front of the Scientology/Dianetics Center here. They were standing out front holding the mag saying I could get a free peek if I sat & chatted with them. I figured, I'd go in, chat, not sign anything & take one for the Team.

They sat me at a table next to one of those Playskool blue toy thingies and kept offering me some punch to drink. I refused of course. But after a while, because I was so parched from wandering around the city, I thought a couple of sips couldn't hurt. It actually had a super sweet, medicinal taste, like cough syrup. I actually didn't want more than a few sips. :p

Ummm, that's kind of the last thing I remember... I looked down at my watch & it was suddenly 2 hours later. I don't know what happened! :confused3 And there was a huge, thick book lying nearby with my name on it.

As for the Suri pics, all I can say is, "She is the most beautiful, amazing baby I ever saw. Quite normal looking. She has a head full of very thick, black hair.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Nice - LOL!

I believe it was the actor from Moulin Rouge--Ewan McGregor, that was strongly suspected to be the father

The Larry King Interview.

Can we all say "Vomit"??? My first question - are YOU Jayne, a Scientologist? How could Larry have missed that one?? Good lord - how could she NOT be?? Those answers?!??! ***barf!***

I took notes.... LOL

Paraphrased: I pulled up and saw this gorgeous woman holding this adorable baby which looked just like Tom.

Ummmm.... are these the new adjectives to use? What happened to amazing, great and exciting? Oh yeah - she DID use exciting!!! Like 30 times!!!

Paraphrased: They're all so excited, they all clammer in the morning to be the 1st to get the baby it's morning bottle.

Whatever - 2 teenagers "clammering" in the morning. I have teenagers. You cant fool me.

Paraphrased: Theyre all so excited about the relationship and upcoming wedding.

Here we go again - excited. Yes - yes, we know EXCITED! Exciting....

Paraphrased: There were NO conditions on doing the shoot.

HA! Do they think the American Public (well, at least WE) have "Moron's" Tattooed across our forhead? No conditions? NONE? With the way these people operate - NO CONDITIONS? Could Jayne wander into their bedroom at 3 am and hop in bed with them? No? Then THAT is a condition... they had conditions, and they seemed to be the fact Jaybe needed to perpetuate how exciting, gorgeous and adorable everything is.

On a side note - and I SWEAR TO YOU i never mentioned any of these things to Danny (my 11 y/o) I swear, I swear, I swear.

We flipped on Larry King and he watched it too.

He said "She's Rented" (referring to Suri) - apparently there is a Fresh Prince episode where the guy from George Jefferson is on, and he "rents" a family. I laughed!!!

He said "It almost looks like she's wearing a wig" - see? you cant even pull the toupee over an 11 y/o's eyes! I laughed even harder!!!

He lastly said "It's weird they all of a sudden have a BUNCH of pictures, like they just got the baby to adopt" Hmmmm.... interesting Danny, isnt it?? I shook my head, looked on to my son proudly and laughed some more.

I honestly don't want to pick a fight and I am sorry for interrupting the fun. You can return to your regularly scheduled bashing now!

Thanks! :woohoo:

I saw the interview with Matt Lauer, and there was one thing that really confused me. The woman said that Tom and Katie actually the whole family were so hands on. That they didn't have a Nanny that took care of the baby that they did it all themselves. If that's the case who takes care of that kid when they are travelling all over the place? To Telluride, Las Vegas, etc. I didn't see no Suri with them then. Did they leave her with the Teenagers who are all clammoring to take care of her?

What I am confused about is last night Jane said that there was NO MENTION at all of Scientology (and she was there for 5 days)...WHATEVER, JANE!!!!! And yet she said they have been planning the wedding...now you cannot tell me that every single celebrity Scientology member will most likely be at this wedding and hence the statement of NO discussion of Scientology at all. HOW TOMMY CAN YOU AND KAT(I)E (I love the way we are now spelling her name :lmao: ) CAN PLAN PLAN PLAN AS JANE HAS SAID AND NOT MENTION SCIENTOLOGY!!! Hmmmm!!!!!

Jane drank the kool-aid out of the g'normous glass at Tom's sitting in the Scientology backyard at the Scientology picnic table over looking the Scientology mountains in Telluride. :lmao:

How in the world have I missed this thread?!?! Suri Gate is one of my favourite topics!

I apologize for just jumping in here, and no, I haven't read the whole thread, but does anyone else remember when Tom Cruise FIRST became famous, back in the early '80's? One of his first movies was "Endless Love" with Brooke Shields (ha ha ha), and while doing the press for the movie, stated that he had gone to the Catholic Seminary after high school to become a Priest, because he KNEW HE COULD NOT FATHER CHILDREN BECAUSE OF A CHILDHOOD ILLNESS.

Yes, that was many years ago, and fertility treatments have changed drastically since then, but I'm still not buying that Suri is "his".

Defamer had a very funny article about how Kat(i)e could not be convinced to use only one borrowed baby - and liked both the caucasian and asian babies.

Sorry for butting in - I'm now off to read the previous 130 pages!

Sure and I could win the lottery tonight too. I have just about as much of a chance as that happening as this does turning out to be his child. Just my opinion, not medical fact.

Um, my eldest son was adopted (because I am, in fact, infertile) yet my twins are biological. There's a nifty treatment called "in-vitro fertilization" that really helps us infertile types. So, your assertion really holds no water whatsoever.

That does not, however, mean Tom is not a total whackjob.
:lmao:

Yeah, but doesn't invitro normally take quite a while? I remember hearing story after story of people who tried for so long to get pregnant via IVF. She was pregnant within 3 months of them starting dating. An accidental pregnancy is one thing, but agreeing to IVF within 2 months of your first date is a bit odd.

Well, everything about them is odd! Who knows what goes on that the public doesn't see. Don't get me wrong--I'm not defending TomKat. But with the advent of ICSI/IVF, even extreme cases have successfully conceived. And we know he could certainly afford the finest treatment and could also afford to buy silence. Sure, he SAYS he doesn't use any meds, but who knows what people actually *do* in contrast with their public personas? That's really my only lame point. :)

ETA: I just had a thought. Technically, if Suri was indeed the result of ICSI/IVF, then Katie might indeed have been still considered a virgin, right?

Yeah, that's right, I must be drinking the Kool-Aid because there's no way this conspiracy theory could possibly be wrong. It's much more believable that 27 people including doctors, lawyers and state officials conspired to keep the stolen baby a secret. I must be a closet Scientologist! Don't tell my priest.

Do you not think that maybe they paid off these people to keep quiet? Of course, no state official has ever been bribed.

Plus, anyone around Cruise has to sign a confidentiality agreement. They can't speak about this whole thing, else they be sued (and we all know how much Scientologists like to sue).

Kat(i)e was reported to be a virgin (I doubt this is true though). So, she dates Chris Klein for 5 years and is engaged to be married to him, but never sleeps with him. Magically, she startes dating Tom and is pregnant? Please.

IF it is Tom's (which I highly doubt) she either slept with him pretty soon after they started dating AND even though HE (and others) have said he is sterile, he happens to get her pregnant. OR they started fertility treatments (which I doubt is OK with Scientologists). Would you begin treatments so soon after you started dating someone?

Isn't is much more believable that Kat(i)e was pregnant BEFORE they started dating and they set up an agreement to act as though the kid is his? That this is probably Klein's kid? She DOES in fact give birth to a child, but everyone fudges the dates a bit.

You can't forget the reports that Tom met with other young females before Kat(i)e in hopes of setting up a "relationship".

Oh, according to Scientology you CAN be any religion and a Scientologist.

My BF said it was definitely the punch I drank at the Scientology Center. :crazy2: ;)

I think I'm back to my usual self today! :cool1:

I wonder what Chris Klein is thinking & feeling today?

Thank you Amber - very good! :thumbsup2

And again - not to sound snarky, but you really do need to read through the obnoxious number of posts in this thread, before you tell (at least) me what's "more believable". After reading some of the TRULY horror stories of Scientology, I *do* believe anything is possible when it comes to 'them'
