Here's my latest theory (after restraining myself from buying the US Weekly at Target at lunch today). Why not just release a manufactured picture of Katie and any ol' baby, and say it's their baby? Two months later and the newborn will look totally different anyway, and it would shut people up. Now I'm wondering, since this seems like an easy solution, why they HAVEN'T done this?

He's 5'7" and she's 5'9" according to the website -- in the photo, she's wearing flats and they're saying he must be wearing lifts b/c they're about the same height!

Maybe someone out there would be so kind as to put the photo up!?

I thought all those who doubted the pregnancy were full of beans. Now, I'm not so sure.

It is certainly curious that there hasn't been a single photo of this baby. Surely, family and friends have photos? Isn't it strange that NOT ONE person has come forward with one picture?

I also thought it was very odd that Katie was riding a motorcycle with Tom like three weeks after she gave birth. AND she left her baby with friends? I can't imagine a new mother would leave her baby at that age just to attend a party? Not saying it doesn't happen, but it seems very strange to me.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is the WHY of it. Why would Tom and Katie conspire to play this kind of hoax?

None of it makes sense.

I didn't show with my DD until I was nearly 15 weeks pregnant, and with this baby, I started to show around 10 weeks.

It's possible that she could be pregnant and not be showing yet, especially if she just found out.

Well here's where owning your own Sonogram machine comes in very handy!!
Roll around in the hay, turn on the machine and watch those puppies reach their destination!! er, jus kiddin

Because this thread wouldn't have 260+ posts, nor would the thousands of other threads like it all over the internet, not to mention the news stories about it. Anything that keeps the public talking about you is a good thing!

I saw that "pregnant again" comment under the recent COFFEE (with sweater) pictures on one of the tabloids yesterday...but I really didn't see a bump. So i didn't post it. What do you guys think? I'm FAR from a pregnancy expert having no experience.

Suri is supposed only 3 months old. She *could* be pregnant (although unlikely). If she is she could only be about a month along. And she wouldn't be showing yet.

From what I gather, her parents haven't even seen the baby.

I think he and Scientology have taken a few PR hits in the past, and he might have been trying to improve his image.

If Suri's only three months old I'd expect another 15 years of maturity before she could become pregnant...

#1 I would know that the clip was unhooked since my girls needed extra support back then.
#2 I wouldn't have worn a white-silk shirt like that one which would not hide milk leaks (and I used to wear those little protectors when I was out of the house)

She just looks so troubled in that picture. I said it earlier, but if she was my daughter, I would go in and get her out of that freak show. That, and like another poster said, I would TELL ALL. Let the Scientologists sue me, I wouldn't care as long as my child (and potential grandchild) were safe.

Tom Cruise had 2 movies coming out in the last year.
First it was War of the Worlds. Speculation was rampant that the leading man was/is gay. We can't have that. So in the effort to sway public opinion, we have to get a girlfriend. FAST SO our management arranges for a few interviews with the promise of huge stardom if we agree to date Tommy.

Enter Katie Holmes (after Toms first choice Scarlett Johansenn refuses) along with Lindsay Lohan (who originally agreed until her Mother stepped in)

When Tommy has to chase her around 5 minutes backstage just so she will come out on Oprah-Thought that interesting.

Now we have to keep ourselves in the news as MI 3 doesn't come out for a few months...... Lets trot out to CVS and buy us a Sonogram machine and announce we're preggers in another feeble attempt to stop the sterility rumors.

How about this:
She has severe PPD which is why you see her out looking like someone who is out of it or really sad. Tom won't let her get the help she needs. Because of her severe PPD they have to keep little baby Suri away from her mother, that is why we don't see them?

My theory is that something is wrong with the Baby and that she is still in the hospital in some sort of NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) somewhere and for security reasons, they don't want anyone to know where the baby is (so no crazed fan tries to take off with her--or no paparazzi come charging their way into a unit like that snapping pictures). I agree with an earlier poster that perhaps they knew the baby might have complications which prompted him to buy an ultrasound machine. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have an entire NICU ward paid for and set up in their house and that's why no one sees Katie out, and why no one can snap a picture of them coming or going with Suri.

My theory on what happened was that they had a female baby adoption all set up, delivery date expected, etc. So they planned on getting Suri when that baby was born. No one would look twice at an anonymous mother giving birth at the same time, same hospital, quietly giving it up for adoption, or just quietly checking out right after birth. Even Brooke Shields's baby was born same time there.

But even with arranged, private adoptions, the birth mother has a right to change her mind. Either right there in the hospital after birth, or taking a look into Nutcase Cruise's eyes, or both, she changed her mind & decided to keep her baby. All the money that Cruise has couldn't change her mind. It's HER baby.

Now Tom & Kate have been left scrambling to cover up their "birth" until a new baby girl can be found who will be the same approximate age - and one they will want to keep.

Since they don't know what she will look like, hair color, eyes, complexion, they can't simply come out with a pic.

Heck, when Paris Hilton lost her dog for a month & supposedly got it back, the media has been having a field day, saying she never got her original dog back! That SHE can't tell it's a different dog.
