A woman has launched a Change.org petition asking Target to remove the shirt entirely.

The real tragedy in our society is that MSN would report that a Change.org petition with a mere 12k signatures is "intense backlash online" 12,000 signing an online petition is nothing. It takes no effort at all. That is hardly an intense backlash.

I despise the way our media is so eager to create a click-bait story where there is no story at all. The person who created the petition is probably the best friend of an MSN blogger who needed material ;p It's no wonder we think we live in an ultra-PC, hypersensitive society when things like this get reported as if it's actual backlask or an actual story.

Why can't the man be a trophy. This is totally gender neutral too, it is just this shirt is made for a woman. Trophy is not derogatory at all. I am a trophy, so is my Dh and all three of my kids. Trophy is a good thing, it is actually the best thing. People need to get a life and worry about other things (not directed at the person I quoted).

I personally think the shirt is tacky as all hell, but Target's clothes have always been a "gun to my head" choice anyway. If people want to be tacky, that's their business and not mine. Target can sell them or not; no one's making me buy them, so whatever!

It doesn't say wife just trophy. A trophy is what a winner gets, my DSO got the trophy when he won me
