Yes, I have a call in for my doctor's office. Hopefully I hear something today, chances are never good that I will. I feel stupid for even asking this question on here.

I did my first round of Clomid in May and did another round last week. This medicine is driving me crazy but you'd think this medicine would come with a questionaire book.

I started spotting late yesterday evening and some through out the night. I started cramping in the middle of the night and feeling absoutely horrible today.

My normal cycle is normally 3-5days but last weeks was only 2 days. I've NEVER had spotting between cycles and trying my best not to freak out about all this.

I don't think I can handle the pressure of this babymaking medicine. It's making me paranoid that I'm pregnant or miscarrying or something else.

Any insight on the possible spotting and pain?

I had 3 miscarriages and and ectopic pregnancy before I had my DS. I've had about every kind of female pain there is (mutiple girly issues/surgeries through the years). I've never taken any fertility meds (I could get pregnant, just couldn't stay pregnant or not blow up a fallopian tube) so I can't speak to that, but I would spot and cramp before I misscarried AND I did spot and cramp when I was pregnant with my son. It is really hard to say. Have you taken a pg test? My OB said that some spotting and cramping was normal after conception and I have a friend who spotted each month while pregnant, when she would have normally had her period.

SO, I am hoping for the best for you, it is really a rollercoaster ride when you have issues with getting/staying pregnant.

Sometimes you can get implantation bleeding. I did IVF and this happened with my oldest and I freaked. Found out a week later I was pregnant. Sometimes it just takes your body time to adjust to all the hormones and that will cause break through bleeding. Is it just a spot or two or like you are having a period?

I don't want to give you any false hope, but it sounds like implantation bleeding to me!!!! I used clomid two times, and know how horrible it is while taking it. I'd just take it easy until you hear from your doctor. Has the spotting stopped by now??? When is your period due, is it next week?????

I spotted when I was on Clomid. I think it's pretty normal, so try not to worry.
I also spotted some at about 6 weeks pregnant with my dd. It went away after a day or two. They said it was just old blood. Sorry for the TMI, but it was brown, which is old. I had an ultrasound and everything was fine.
Hopefully you will hear from your Dr. soon.

I was on Clomid as well. I can't remember if I had break through bleeding or not. Just wanted to send hugs and well wishes. Good luck with everything!!

Thanks, ladies, I don't know if something is wrong or if this is normal. I'm going to try and relax and just let it be. I wouldn't care about the spotting if I didn't feel like someone is kicking me in the uterus. I did have a period last week well almost 2 weeks now and it wasn't even my normal kind of perod, which concerned me as well. Supposedly all this is normal with the clomid so I'm just trying to go along without freaking out everywhere.

Never been on Clomid, but I spotted and cramped like that with one of my successful pregnancies and also spotted and cramped with my miscarriage.
I hope you'll get it all figured out soon.
You know we're all hoping for a baby for you soon! You're going to be a great Mommy.

I don't have any answers for you but I just wanted to send some pixie dust your way! pixiedust:

I had early spotting with both of my pregnancies. Both times I feared that I was miscarrying, and both times everything was fine.

Good luck with TTC!

I took Clomid numerous times while ttc my second child. Clomid helps egg production and ovulation (which I'm sure you knew that)...so it can cause some wonky things with your cycle. Bleeding could be breakthrough (which I had), from ovulation, or implantation. As long as it is light, and infrequent, I wouldn't worry about it.

Good luck!

I am trying to get an idea of the timing. What cycle day are you on now? What CD's did you take the clomid? Have you taken a pregnancy test at all?

The cycle I got PG with Ryan I used a natural herb which is very similar to clomid. I don't remember anything funky mid-cycle except ovulation itself was stronger. While TTC I would often cramp and spot when ovulating. From what it sounds like you could be at that point in your cycle right? With Ryan I also spotted and cramped from the day I was supposed to get my period until 12 weeks. My first OB didn't want to do anything about it and said I would lose him. The second OB I tracked down humored me and gave me progestrone suppositories and now I have a bouncing 3 months old! My point is, sometimes cramping and spotting is totally normal. My Progestrone levels where also fairly normal, though on the lower side, so I probably would have sucessfully carried him without the suppoositories anyway.

From what timing you have given it sounds like you might be having ovulation pains. I never had them before clomid, but on clomid I would have to say it hurt - BAD. The clomid just makes ovulation stronger and for some of us more painful. I didn't have spotting though, but I think it could go along with it.

I know nothin' about birthin' no babies, but I just wanted to wish you the best luck in trying to have a baby.

You are such a great person to people on the disbaords; I know that we are all rooting for you.

Like DMickey - I was trying to picture the timing in my head. When was your last AF start date, and what days did you take Clomid? It could be implantation bleeding, definitely, if AF was 2 weeks or so ago...

Sending positive thoughts your way!

I was a freakazoid on Clomid! All this sounds vaguely familiar, so try not to worry. By the way...my twins turn 11 next month! Good luck!

Me to.....My guy will be 13 next month. CLomid is great for what it does however; it sucks (if that makes sense). My husband also took it....he was PMSing for months.

No experience with this, but just wanted to send good vibes and pixie dust your way Tina. We're all praying and wishing for a baby for you!

This "could" be a good sign! We're all keeping our fingers crossed for you.. Try not to stress about it and get some rest until you hear from the doctor..:goodvibes
