My fiance and I were so excited when we saw Cinderella invitations on Ebay for a minimum of 99 cents!! It was just 100 invites and envelopes so we figured we could get some generic response cards to put in that would look ok. The price obviously went up, but we ended up winning at a $35 bid and then it was going to be $12 shipping. Not bad for 100 Disney invites and envelopes.
Well, after the auction, my fiance got an email from the seller that he/she made a mistake and the minimum should have been somewhere in the upper $200 range. So now we don't get them. We emailed Ebay and they said this is legit and it's ok for the seller to do this.
We are trying so hard to be able to afford our most perfect day and it makes me sad that this happened
Plus, I think the upper $200 range is pretty steep for just the invites and envelopes.
Just wanted to vent and to warn others that nothing is ever a good deal if it looks too good to be true. I thought I already knew that, but I guess I was blinded by trying to get my perfect day
PS- If the seller is a DIS member, please don't take offense to this. I'm just really disappointed!!!
