Oh heavens....her swim suit doesn't fit!

Hubby and I are taking our grandchildren (3 years and 16 months) to WDW in 13 days and I just went and tried on my GD swimsuits and neither fit. They fit less than a month ago. I am heading over to ebay to find a new one.

Hubby thought it was funny as I was standing there in disbelief that these didin't fit her. He looked at me and said "You forgot how fast they grow, didn't you?".

Thank heavens for ebay!!!!

Just changed our clothing budget so DD's amount is twice that of anybody else in family.We don't need all new shoes every 6 months

Since it is end of season, I see lots of swimsuits on sale. Our toddlers are growing like weeds, so I understand.

my dd3.5(turning4atWDW) wears two pieces!!! They are more convenient when they need to go potty too (she is potty trained)...none of that pulling an entire wet swimsuit off for us nosiree!!!

Lands End still sells swimsuits. You might find some in their Overstocks!

If you have time to hit any garage sales this Saturday you should find a bunch there. I bought two nearly new this past week for $1.00. Good luck!

I just got back from K-Mart. I bought my DD 3 new bathing suits for $1.50 each.

Kohls had some great sales going on...got DS 2 pair of swim trunks for $2.00 each....Sears also having seasonal clearance...got DD 2 Lands End swimsuites for $3.99 each!!
The shopping to get ready for Disney is costing as much as the entire vacation!! LOL

We leave Wednesday....CAN'T WAIT!!!

I managed to find the same Nemo one she had...with a cute little starfish on it that she loves....on ebay from Disney Deals...brand new $4.99 plus $4.00 shipping. Not too bad!

I just went to a consignment store and bought one for my DD last week. There were none left in the store so I asked. Apparantly they box up all the swimsuits for next season so the manager went in the back and pulled out 3 totes for me to go through. I got one for 3.50 so I was happy.

Wow, we are going to December. I just ASSUMED DW would have swimsuits because of the climate. Like Hawaii, doesn't matter when you go they have them all year........is this not the case?

Sure they do but have you seen those gag signs from gas stations about arm and leg prices?


Swimwear at Disney is VERY expensive.

There is a WalMart close to the property. Don't ask me for directions...I've gotten lost every time...but someone here could tell you.
