Jacs, be careful. If you already booked through Priceline you may not be able to cancel your reservation and receive your money back. I know with the "Name Your Own Price" feature all sales are final once your bid is accepted.

Thanks for the tips guys and thanks for that info about car seats Shannon. They have to be in boosters until they're 8 here.

I haven't got our travel insurance yet so I'll do that first and see what they cover. I wonder if our car insurance matters as we're international.

Honestly, unless your 7 YO fits correctly without a booster, I'd still consider bringing one for him. If, heaven forbid, a crazy LA driver ran into you, he would be safer positioned correctly in the belt.
