Oh good grief, a gourmet computer

Well . . . yuck!

But we have to remember that AI isn't doing this all by itself. It's not like some AI program started churning out horrid recipes--a human arranged for this to happen.

How low will humanity go? There's no bottom.

For my Life Therapies website, I have generated a number of soothing images for it using AI. They're VERY impressive. But I've come across some limitations:
  1. AI can't spell to save its life. Ask it to generate more than three letters and it falls over.
  2. Fingers. AI generated people tend to have four or six fingers!
  3. Elementary problems. I live on a pebble beach - ask AI to generate a picture of it and we get sandcastles!
  4. Music. AI music is VERY impressive. But it never goes anywhere and you can DETECT inflections in the voiceovers.
  5. Voices. Very problematic. Dry. Repetitive. I'd never use it for anything serious.
  6. Making AI write answers for an A level or Degrees. It repeats itself time and time again. Has trouble with numbers. Impossible to cite sources. You will be found out!

Sometimes AI pulls off a blinder… I asked AI to generate an image similar to the game Jet Set Radio… the result was AMAZING...

I don't intentionally use AI for anything, but Google searches now spit out the AI-generated results first, and they're never to be trusted. There are often errors one can easily see, but more often there are errors that seem like they're facts.

I totally agree. They say by 2025 95% of search engine returns will be AI generated. Scary.

I am friends with someone who used AI to try and answer a coursework question. He got fingered for it and was reprimanded. He said to me that he felt forced into it as the workload was so severe. I can kinda see what he was on about, but I'd never condone trying to find an easy way out. He beats himself up for it every day now.
