Hey there! I'm coming over from your comment on our trip report. I'm gonna get all caught up here in a second.

I love Pop, and we also tried to stay at POR. I wish we could have, but there was no availability for our dates

I have not wanted to commit to a favorite ride after only ONE trip to Disney, but if I'm being honest, I think my favorite ride is also Everest. It was my very first ride in WDW so it's definitely special to me even if I end up changing my mind :3

I hope this ends up being a great trip for you guys!

Hi guys, feeling a bit down today. One of my employees at work just realized I'm taking another vacation here in a few weeks (19 days to be exact!) and is giving me a hard time about it. Basically she thinks she's better than I am and I don't work as hard as she does (she goes to school and chooses to only work 10-15 hours and spends all of her money on clothes and things she can't actually afford. She also lives in a house her mother owns and pays for). It's very frustrating for me because I don't get a summer break like she does. I work 35-40 hours a week every week! Last week was the first vacation I've been able to take in a year and I've been planning this trip with my brother for a year. It's very special and I'm just annoyed to the max! I really don't know what to do. She always has this holier than thou attitude and I'm kind of a pushover. How do I fix it? I have no idea.

You don't fix it. You ignore it.

Like you said, you work a lot of hours and haven't been on vacation in a year, and just because you get two in a matter of a short period of time how is that any of her business? It's between you and management how much time you take off, and that's that.

If she gives you a hard time, simply say "yep, going on vacation again. Can't wait!" and let it go. If she doesn't get a rise out of you, she'll let it go too. Some people are just like that; they butt into where they don't belong and bring others down. Don't give her the satisfaction. I've found the best way to deal with people who think they're better than me is to agree with them and then vacate.

I agree pp; ignore her. Something I try to remember is that no one should have enough power over you to take your peace. You know you work hard, and that is all that matters. If some spoiled child is jealous of that it's her problem, not yours. Now stop worrying and go be excited about your awesome vacation!!

Hard to do, but the others are right, do your best to ignore her, and then come on here and plan your trip!

People say that stuff to me all the time, oh you're going to Disney again? And my answer is always, YES, I LOVE IT!

hiii just joining in! this seems like it's going to be such a fun trip! I love your costume idea, I think the subtle/casual costumes will be super cute, and much more practical than a big elaborate one.

Also I LOVE the cakes you've been posting pictures of! The Ariel one is so so amazing!

I'm excited about the costumes too! I intended to go all out last year but man was it muggy! I'm super excited about the masters cupcake. I ended up switching one of the meals to a kids meal which didn't come with a dessert so it'll only be the master's for us which is totally fine!

POR is so beautiful! It's no wonder it books up quickly right?

Everest is just such a great blend of ride elements! The queue is amazing, it's thrilling and fun and of course has a great story. I think that's a perfect first ride.

Hello! Just a few things to share!

-I changed our Be Our Guest lunch choices. Instead of the turkey sandwich, which just didn't seem that appealing I chose a kids meal choice, the Mickey meatloaf with zucchini and fries. It didn't include a dessert to be on the dining plan but that's fine. Aaryn isn't really a dessert guy and like I mentioned, I work in a cupcake shop so I don't actually eat a lot of cake anymore!

-I think on our MNSSHP party day we're going to head over to AOA for lunch and a look around instead of DTD shopping. I think we'll fit DTD in on the AK early close day. Landscape of Flavors looks like it has some interesting options for food!

-We made a rule that we shall not be on social media or texting unless we're eating or maybe on the bus (and at the hotel of course). I think we can do it! We did say video chatting with our parents or my husband/his girlfriend is OK though, but that probably won't happen a lot!

I looked at a couple reviews so I could see what the food actually looked like and it just looked gross! I hope what we chose is good otherwise it may not even be worth booking again!

Oh wow, I am obsessed with the turkey sandwich at BOG! They put it on a garlic bread, and mixed with the flavor of the turkey it is delicious. I made a last minute BOG reservation two trips ago just for that sandwich, and will attempt one on this trip too just for that sandwich - it's my favorite. It's so funny how different people have different experiences!

That being said, as long as you go for what you like you should be fine.

Not bad changes at all! I'm probably getting te croque Monsieur and the chocolate cupcake from BOG, if we can get a fp+ in a few days. The cupcake was one of my faaaavorite desserts last trip but you might not be so easily impressed haha. Also I would really like to have the soup so I might add it

We are going to only hit DTD on our MNSSHP day, I think. For our AK evenings, we have later ADRs planned, one in MK and one at AKL so with closing at 6 and dinners after that it will be time to relax in food comas
