Hi y'all! We are staying 4 nights at PBH from March 18 through 22nd. Our first week is at DW and I have pretty much cased out where we should eat but I am less informed/more confused about where to eat at Universal. We are doing Club so b'fasts should be covered. Can we decide when we arrive or are ressies necessary? I am thinking that Mythos sounds great, as well as Margaritaville. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids DS12, DS 9 and DD 7. The two little ones are slightly picky! Sigh. The 12 year old eats pretty much anything!
There just look to be so many great eateries there. I am very confooosed!!!!!!:upsidedow Any suggestions?

Breakfast at the PBH Club will work. The afternoon offering was never appealing to my kids. But go back at bed time for the cookies and milk. PBH has a pizza place (Sal's) for onsite. Trattoria del Porto has a buffet (good food) character dinner that is normally not crowded so the kids would get a lot of attention from the likes of Woody or Scooby.
Otherwise I'd recommend Bubba Gump's, NBA City or Hard Rock. If mom and dad can slip away, Tchoup Chop at RPR is awesome. If you can not ditch the kids, they have such delights as chicken fingers.

Mythos is good for lunch around 11:30am because they close early in the afternoon unless the park stays open until 10pm. Here's my menu page to help you.
Universal Studios Florida Menus

Margaritaville is a fan favorite around here. The place gets packed around 8pm. Your room key will move you up on the waiting list. If you go at 8pm the wait is 20 minutes.

Magaritaville is a good middle of the road choice,if you like seafood Bubba gump is a very good choice also.

robvia,

Thanks for posting menus with prices. I have found many of the menus online, but they never list prices. I've gotten spoiled with Disney's dining plan, and this trip I actually need to worry about a food budget!

We loved NBA cafe, we ate there twice. Magarittaville was good, Latin Quarter was good if you like Spanish food, Nascar is very nice and family oriented.

if you want food in the park do you want cs or ts?

enchanted oak tavern has a decent selection and could even be shared with the 2 littles. it's at IOA

i like the choices others have posted already but i would add hard rock cafe.

Look at purchasing appetizers for the kids and splitting them as their main meal for lunch. The quesadias (I know that is spelled wrong) at Margaritaville are great and large enough for two people. The volcano nachos will easily feed 3 kids.

Don't the menus at allearsnet post prices? :confused3 (I thought they did!)

Thank you thank you for all your responses! I guess we will wing it when we get there. I won't make ressies but will try to feed the herd at "off" hours to avoid the rush. I saw a picture of those Volcano Nachos and I have been drooling ever since! I cannot wait to get there!

The best part about picky eaters at the Universal restaurants, CW and the hotel restaurants is that they ALL have many options for picky kids! I just love that. :thumbsup2 One of my favorite past times is eating during our Universal vacations. SO many great places to eat so little time.:)
