......only gone and got on a ferry and driven to DLP. Decided a few days ago after discovering my Pirate needed to pick up his free pass, so we invited some friends and we've going to stay until Saturday! First trip for the 8 year old with us and we are going to Auberge, Cafe Mickey, Restaurant des Stars, Plaza Gardens we had EOS today :-) The girls don't know any of this as it's an early surprise for their birthdays ;) Great fun!!!!

Have a ball Lisa :)
Can not wait to get how the girls react !!
No one bit jealous ;)

Enjoy! Bring home some nice weather! And happy frozen hunting!

How exciting. I hope you have a lovely time. :goodvibes

Hope you are all having an amazing time - not at all jealous either!! :rotfl2:

Just back - this is going to be a HUGE trip report!! Princess meal, Cafe Mickey (complete with birthday cake!), Plaza Gardens, VIP viewing of the parade, wonderful use of my "crazy pass" (I've been having CBT/medical treatment to cope with OCD/Anxiety/Depression, and for the first time had an Easy Access Pass. OMG, I might have "issues" but this trip was seemless because of that wonderful orange piece of paper!! <3)
Dreams was amazing as ever, we filled our autograph book and I met MAX!! Never seen him before and got slightly excited *cough*. Minnie "spotted" my nails that I dedicated to her (I LOVE her lol!) and everywhere I went, people admired them (even the CM on RC Racer stopped me as said she wanted my nails. She seriously doesn't know how hard I work to keep them, full time job right there haha!).
Descent of the Stairs on Mother's Day bought all the characters in their Parade outfits (WOW WOW WOW) and Friday bought them out in their Spring outfits (GORGEOUS!). I'm totally in love with this concept and will 200% miss is dreadfully :'(
Food was fab, weather was fab, company was fab, crowds were low until Thursday, hotel...(um, yeah), just everything was fab. Got to ride Indiana Jones too!!
Only downside was of course coming home (already have a next trip planned) and leaving my entire bag of make up/hair stuff/nail art kit somewhere :( Going to be expensive to replace *sad*.

Sounds like a great trip Lisa :goodvibes
Sorry read your having some issues :grouphug:
Life not easy all the time pixiedust: to make your feel better.

Omg I would be in as state if I lost my make up bag hair stuff
The money to replace I dread to think :confused3

We were there Mothers Day too for the descent of the stairs, was great to see Max and the lovely costumes. Dum and Dee were funny as usual. Good to hear you enjoyed your trip too.

Hi out of interest what do you need to do in order to get the easy access pass? We are planning a trip for my birthday in December and one of my friends really wants to come but gets anxiety/panic attacks and is worried it might make things difficult in the parks. Wondering if this might help her as would be great to have her along...

To get an Easy Access Pass you need to prove your illness. I had a letter from my therapist stating the exact nature of my illness (triggers, worries, how it affects me), a letter from the stating I am entittled to claim an allowance and also proof of my meds. If you have a long term disability, you need proof you are registered disabled, a blue badge is perfect or a stamped/signed letter from your Doctor stating you are registered disabled.
(Thanks for the positive comments, its difficult but this trip was the most relaxed. Even with an hour wait for Rapunzel, the CM was fabulous and I found them all very, very, kind. Embarrassment succumbed me when they stopped Crush for me to get on. They can also stop Buzz, Story Book and Phantom Manor if required. BTM gives you just 20 seconds to board but luckily I could manage that without physical problems. Princess Pavillion worked a treat and I had no worries about getting a ticket. A previous trip last August had me in tears and a huge anxiety attack :-( ).

If your friend can get documents proving this, then the pass will certainly help the worries over queing. It must stress issues with queing - even though I'm a DLP VET, I know what some of those lines do to me and this was the first time I've been able to be happy to be near strangers without fear of being touched! Though I had to leave Cars because a huge stress attack had me running for the toilet with a swollen tummy the size of a 9month pregnancy! I waiting at the exit and boarded with my party. Fab!

Glad to hear you had a fun trip, you won't be the only one who will miss the Descent of the Stairs. Looking forward to reading your trip report.

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed this trip :)

Looking forward to your TR Lisa. Anxiety is such a horrible condition. It really does take over every aspect of your life. Great that the pass was such a help.

Welcome back, glad you had a great time and that the pass helped.

:scared1: at losing your make-up and nail bag, I've never forgotten my DD leaving hers behind at home before a trip, luckily we were staying in London before catching the eurostar so could easily replace it and we knew it wasn't lost, it was sat on her bed waiting for her when we got home. Would love to see some of your nail art, can you post pics on the Chat thread?

Not sure if this is still the case but it used to be that the letter from the doctor had to be a recent one, ie. no more than three months old.
