Oh Come All Ye Faithful... DIS TR Addicts... UPDATE 4/19

Oh you! Such a tease, leaving me hanging about your lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby!

Love your light pictures, but I am sure that's real surprising. The one outside the Star Wars attraction is awesome, I am not a fan of that ride so probably wouldn't have seen that on my own.

great update and pics.....now I'm looking at light fixtures too

Wow, I'm late, but I have to say the Tree of Life photos are AMAZING! Sometimes I take your photos and save them to my computer so I can look at them later, that's how much I love them!

I can't believe how lifelike the walrus looks, I've never seen him before.

Can't wait to read about your lunch. :goodvibes

Christine...another fabulous update!! I have to agree with LL...you left us hanging on the Brown Derby...but I have to know whether you loved it or not before I go!!!

Light fixtures...not only will I have a gnome with me but I'll be taking light fixture pictures too...Prince Phillip is extremely thankful he's not traveling with his "looney" wife LOL!!!

Loved all of your pictures...you have a great eye!!!! Can't wait to see more!!!!

Great update, Christine!! You got some great pictures and can't wait to hear about The Brown Derby...it's one of our favorites!!:goodvibes

i was looking for our crew in the background in your DHS pics because we were there the same day! :rotfl: i didn't see any of us though.

Sorry- don't mean to tease. Just an opportune spot to break up the installments. I won't keep you in suspense. My love of the Derby continues... in fact I ate there twice this trip!!

Well you can thank Leslie (aka LL) for that obsession. It's really astounding once you start looking at them. Disney really pays attention to everything!

Wow! Thank you! That's such a compliment. I'm honored. I have to say the Tree of Life is a particularly good subject - beautiful, stands still... ;)

Sorry to leave you hanging. I definitely love Brown Derby. I've eaten there four times now and have loved each meal. I think it's amazing. If it's on your itinerary it should stay there and if it isn't, try to squeeze it in! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. :goodvibes

Thanks Kristen! BD is one of my faves too. I wish there was one in Connecticut! But I suppose part of what makes it special is that I can't have it every week. Boy some of that grapefruit cake would be good now...

Wouldn't that be funny? I'll have to look for myself in your pictures too!

Much unlike my normal subject matter, which would be a squirmy energetic toddler and squirmy energetic husband in front of the Tree of Life! ;)

I want those AK tree ornaments! In a big way!

Seeing all your beautiful Christmas decoration shots really is making me want to go back to WDW at Christmastime...:rolleyes1

I used to play Star Wars as a kid, too! I was always Princess Leia! I had a chalkboard where I would do attack diagrams and pretend I was briefing all the rebel pilots. :lmao:

Wow - LOTS of updates from the past few days!!!!! :woohoo:

That would be SO cool. Fingers crossed it works out!!

We just picked our dates for December - December 8-15, Mousefest is right in there - I'm so excited!! (and I really like staring at my rotating ticker :rotfl:)

The mouse is cute. I wish I had bought it. I may have to call Disney shopping. They also had a memory stick.

My DH actually pointed out the memory stick to me while we were there, I can't believe I didn't see the mouse! I probably was completely distracted by all the goodies in the store - and rolling my eyes at my DH because we have like 9420983089 of these stinkin' memory sticks and use NONE of them! He always points them out as a joke to me. [/quote]

The bathroom was awesome. I'd forgotten that you had talked about it but when I walked in I think I gasped out loud. AMAZING.

I totally agree!!!!!! :yay:

I love your Pop pictures-so pretty! And YEA for the sun finally coming out.

Thanks for the shout-out. :goodvibes

I hope you find your DVC resale! They really should offer a smaller contract for singletons. Only makes sense.... but hopefully it will just mean you will get a kickin' deal on the BC resale. :thumbsup2

I love your SSR pictures too - I am super excited about staying there. I didn't look around much while there, but from the research I have done, it sounds, and looks, peaceful and beautiful! I love the bedroom set in the Master of the 1 bedroom too. It's not what I would do at home, but is really pretty!

I think I would like to be a Photopass Photographer, or a CM who waves with one of those giant hands. Or maybe a balloon vendor on Mainstreet....

Did I mention I was loopy?????

:rotfl: Love it!

I love learning about other traditions - what a neat souvie!! Have you made your wish yet?

Your AK pictures are FANTASTIC! :worship: I They make me VERY excited to take some time again with the walking paths and get some better Tree of Life pictures - it also makes me very excited about Mousefest Meet-up offerings for 2009!

I love those walking paths around the Tree of Life too - it's a fun place to explore and I would never have guessed all those animals were there.

I had some time to go on Star Tours. I am a geek at heart. I always go right back to playing Star Wars as a kid in the back yard… I was older and we always made my little brother be Chewbacca! On my way out found a good light fixture on the side of Tattoine Traders for Miss LL.

So I'm going to leave you there. Up next - lunch, the WDW Today party backstage and drinking around the world.

I love Star Wars, too. I am old enough to remember when the original film was released. Everyone was so into it, but me. It wasn't until my kids started watching the original 3 episodes, many years later, that I started to really enjoy it. It's so classic. Love it! Wish I could see your pics, but I am at work. Will check back later!

I didn't even know you updated! Sneaky thing. Can't wait to SEE the pictures I just read about when I get home.

Are you chatting w/us tonight during SNL? :happytv: +:surfweb: =:goodvibes
